Granville Villa

The executive director is very sharp. She is nice and good. She does her job and is not overbearing. Paula does everything. She steps in whenever someone is not able to make it. From my standpoint I take part in bowling and arts and crafts and bingo. There are different actvities that they have. The maintenance man is good and the building is very well maintained. The nurse always looks out for your benefit. She will call the doctor and makes the appointments. She makes sure we can get there. Paula is very good. For me there is enough staff. I don't have any problem with them. They are very respectful.

All you have to do is ask if you want to talk to the management or have someone come down to your room, and they will do that. In regards to the dining, it is a variety, and the portions are more then enough. The service is very timely, and the girls are very good. I am busy all the time doing something. I enjoy the Wii bowling on Tuesdays and Fridays. The bingo is on Thursday, and on Wednesday, we take a road trip. The housekeeping has been great. I like the girl that does it, and she is always open to any suggestions that I need. All you have to do is ask, and the maintenance can take care of it.

The managment seems to be very proactive and they have a very good open door policy where I can get feedback and questions answered promptly. The meals seem very good. The dining room is clean and they serve them at the same time every day. I think they are doing a good job as far as food service goes. The activities are off the charts. My mom is engaged in crafts and they go on outings and they have an exercise group. They have family barbeques, happy hour and things in the evening. Her dementia seems to have improved and I think it is because she is socializing and she enjoys it. Their activities director is great. The housekeepers do a great job. Her apartment and her clothes, towels are always clean. In regards to the transportation, my mom has gotten to and from appointments safely and in a timely manner. The bus is clean and spotless and seems to be in good working order…it looks brand new. The care givers are very kind and very caring. They take very good care of her.

I love my little apartment. It's very nice and comfortable. I like it because it's small, and there are only about 40 residents. I think I know everybody's name. The housekeeping and maintenance is very good. If somebody needs help with something, she's right there. The transportation service is very good. I don't need a lot of care, but they do fine with what I need.

The management has responded to everything that I have asked and my mom's care is good. She tells me that whenever she pushes the button they are there in a timely manner. I like that part of it. They are respectful and my mom is very happy with the service she is getting.

Management has been very helpful. They serve good food here and my uncle enjoys the few activities that he goes to. The caregivers come by to check on him and make sure he makes it to the cafeteria for meals.

We are so happy that my mom is here and she has said how happy she is here. It seems like she is getting everything she needs. The head nurse has been so incredibly good and knows everything that is going on. The caregivers take good care of her, maintenance fixes things right away, everything is clean and the laundry is good.

I consider this community better than the other places I have been in. The food here is good compared to other places and if you don't like it, you can order whatever else they have. The cleaning and laundry is very good.

We are very happy with the management there. They are just great people to work with. There is a variety of activities. When I walk in the building it is very warm, comfortable and clean inside and out. As far as the day to day care, I think they do a really good job. They get a gold star. I don't have anything to compare it to but overall we are very happy with where she is. We are grateful that it worked out that she could live there.

I am very happy with this community. The prices are in line with other places we saw. We liked the small intimate atmosphere of this community and know my mom can't get lost here. The place is very clean and they do a good job with the laundry. The staff here is great and so caring. They are absolutely wonderful and they work very hard. The night staff is very compassionate.
