The Hampton at Meadows Place

The value was excellent for my mother in law and I was comfortable with the price. They maintained the place well and she never needed anything done in the apartment. The laundry was fine and things were done in a routine manner. The activities were very good. Food quality and menu variety was satisfactory, and the wait service was fine. I never had any problems with any of the management team. She felt safe and comfortable living there. Overall, I loved the staff. I always appreciated the way they treated her. It was like she was their own mother.

The best solution has been for her to move into this community and it has been great. Our experience has been very favorable. We chose the Hampton based on everything: proximity, price, the community and how it looked, the interaction among the residents and the staff. I think they have done a great job educating their staff about each resident and what their needs are. The staff gets along well together and people notice that. When she becomes difficult and belligerent, they are very patient, kind, and respectful towards her. I don't know how they do it. My sister and I have both recommended it.

Everyone has been very nice and more than willing to give us what we want. My mother has been enjoying herself with all the activities. They keep the residents busy all the time and they have fun stuff for them to do. They are very enjoyable. I have been there and seen the housekeepers come in to empty the trash and mop on a daily basis. I would say it is a good value and I feel very blessed that my mother is at a place where she is well taken care of and fed at this time. I believe the caregivers have gone above and beyond. One of them called me last week and helped my mom facetime me. She didn't have to do that but I thought it was great. Today I got a call from the caregiver who said she thought I would like to speak to my mom. I didn't ask them to do that. They are doing it on their own and that is very thoughtful. I was talking to my siblings today and we were saying how happy we are with where we placed our mom.

I am pleased with everything there for my wife and the price is fair for the community. The healthcare staff is respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive. Everything in the building is immaculate and clean. The housekeeping is satisfactory and there are no issues with the transportation service. The activities at the community are good and consistently offered. The dining is very nutritious, she always eats her food and the service is timely. Management is personable and they handle my questions or comments perfectly. All in all, she feels safe and comfortable at the community. They have a wonderful staff and everything is good.

We have enjoyed the lunches and dinners we've had at the community. It's pretty presentation, and they try to do a good variety. The management team is always very attentive to the residents and attentive to anybody's concerns. If they don't have an answer for you, they will find out for you, and they will get back to you. They've all been great. They have been able to employ great caretakers. We have no complaints at all about anything. We have recommended it to others.

My mother-in-law lived there at one time, so the familiarity and some staff from then were still there, so we chose this community for my wife. She has a nice apartment, good view, always clean. Maintenance and housekeeping do a good job. They come by twice a day to take trash out and don't hesitate to clean. Management is nice and attentive to my wife. The Activities Director really enjoys her job and ensures the residents are engaged. The medicine is timely. They seem to be very well trained, knowledgeable, and respectful. In my opinion it's a very good place to go.

The healthcare staff contact me and get back quickly, but every request I have made has been taken care of. If family wants to visit, dining is no issue and it's pretty much a la carte of whatever you want. The housekeepers and people walking around are top notch. My father can do activities from the time he gets up until the time he goes to bed. All in all, there is nothing negative at all that I could say about the place and I recommend it as often as possible.

The management was so receptive. They were always available to talk to me. Shauda Davis is the executive director and she reaches out so much. You don't find that in every place. She is excellent in asking how things are going and she really wants everyone to be fine. In regards to the dining, they have a variety of choices. My mom says that the food is very good. In terms of the physical plant, they have so many sitting areas and the beautiful screen porch. The care is excellent. It is so important that as a daughter to feel confident that they are taking care of her.

Management is excellent and the value at this community is good. They have a lot of good activities and outings, the laundry seems to be good and the building is perfect. I like the caregivers. Everybody there knows her and she is greeted by name wherever we are. The caregivers all know her situation and are on top of it.

I think my dad is enjoying it here and I think he absolutely feels safe. Management is pretty responsive and they have a lot of activities. They have a big bulletin board that lists all the activities going on. Housekeeping is always at his room. They come often, visit with him and pick stuff up. They keep his laundry clean and his bed made. The housekeepers are very diligent. Maintenance is in the middle of painting so it appears they are trying to keep things nice. The caregivers are really good. My dad lets the staff know if he is going outside to walk around. They are very appreciative of that and they keep an eye on him. Overall we are pretty happy with this community.
