The Haven and the Laurels in Stone Oak

Everybody has just been wonderful. His room is always clean, and the bedding is always clean and laundered. Compared to where he was at, the food has been good. I like that he has a choice. I can tell a difference in his alertness, and I think a lot of it has to do with the engagement in the activities. They are very attentive. They are taking care of his needs. They made my uncles transition extremely easy, and that was helpful to the family. I couldn't be happier with the community.

Truly, they’ve just been who they were all the time. They weren't trying to sell us the time he was in respite. They were just doing their jobs like they normally do. Now that they're getting to know him and he's creating more of a relationship, I think it's gotten even better. The guy that is in charge of the shuttle bus is fabulous. He is such a wonderful guy. They have outings. They have quite a good variety of activities. I think they're doing a good job. He loves the food. We're really happy. We haven't really had any problems. We liked the idea that a lot of the staff had been there a long time. Everyone seems happy here. When we looked at the community, we got the general sense that everyone enjoyed their job and that he would be in good hands.

The management staff are very attentive and helpful. The activities seem to be pretty good. She has taken part in playing cards dominoes and getting out and meeting people. The maintenance is very good. We had a couple issues when she first moved in. They were on it really quick, and it was all good. So far, the care is good. Juanita, the nurse, takes care of anything that we ask. The transportation was really good, and as far as I can tell, the laundry is good too.

The Manager really explained everything to us and gave us a wonderful tour. The staff just all seems to know what they're doing. The activities are very good, they seem to have them to where it's the right level for where she's at. We've been very pleased with everything. The healthcare staff are so good and patient with her, all of the staff have been so supportive. My sister and I just love the Laurels and all of the people there.

I am a happy customer right now. Management has been very accessible and helpful to me and mom. I ate there once and it was okay. The food is great. Housekeeping and laundry are both fine. Maintenance was helpful with the move-in. The care givers have been wonderful and responsive. I really have been pleased with everyone there.

The food looked good and everyone seemed to enjoy it. It looked like this community had a lot of activities going on and everyone tried to encourage my mom to participate. The caregivers were very patient and nice.

Her medication aides and the nurses have been really nice. Overall, I am really satisfied and I think it has been a great transition for her. The facility, compared to others that were in the same price range, was the best one we saw.

My kids did the research and told me this is the place for my wife. I think they were impressed with the cleanliness, how quiet it was, how friendly the staff was, and how organized everything is. It's been a great experience.

This community is certainly a good value. Management has been very helpful, they have answered our questions, get back to us quickly and they helped facilitate my mom's transition here. The dining servers are very accommodating as well.

Everyone is friendly and open, we felt like it would be a good environment for my mom. We saw the menus and saw well rounded meals even on weekends, she wasn't getting that where she was at. My mom plans her life around the meals, it's awesome. The staff had quite a bit of longevity and the activities we saw were just extremely impressive to us. Housekeeping is wonderful, she hasn't felt this much respect, care and concern in a long time. The program they have is managed well, it's head and shoulders above what I have experienced, I think it's an excellent value.
