The Haven at Springwood

From the nursing staff to the administration, they went above and beyond what they needed to do. The management was always there to answer any questions I had and they got a new activity director in the past six months. Her name was Ashley and she was a gift to the community. My sister's room was always well kept and tidy and the building was recently renovated. The nurses, aides and medtechs were also wonderful. They were absolutely accessible and responsive. They were very caring and called me with any issues. I could call them at any time to check in on my sister and they were always there. They were quality staff there!

Management seems on top of everything and the care staff are all very kind to her and very patient. If there's a need, they're there. Everything is always clean. I have never really seen anything that is not kept up with.

My father really seems to enjoy the food, the dining staff does a good job and the housekeeping is pretty good. The caregivers do a fine job with him as well. They have done a great job with Covid and have kept it out so far. No one is showing any signs including the staff. I am very happy about that.

Mom is happy where she is at. When I take something to management, if they can't answer it, they find an answer for me. She goes down and does crafts, watches movies in the theater, sits in the Bistro with other ladies. My mother is more active than she has been in a long, long time. When they come into the room they aren't just doing their job, they socialize with them. They are very outgoing people. Mom uses transport to go to her appointments. It has really helped me a lot because it was too hard for me to do anymore.

The care staff all love her. They are always checking in on her. The building is very well maintained. I am completely happy with where she's at.

When I have called and talked with the Executive Director, she has always been responsive and handled everything. I actually recommended it to a friend of ours whose mother was at a different community and she moved her over here. So I definitely recommend it. The Executive Director is very good and that has a lot to do with it.

The price is fair and I am satisfied with the services my mother receives. The nurses are lovely and they've been excellent. They're excellent with the apartment cleaning and laundry. We haven't had any issues with the laundry and she's there almost 3 years now. There is good variety of activities and they offer different things in the bistro or the activity room. The dining experience area always looks immaculate and the service is satisfactory. She feels safe at the community and the staff keeps an eye on things. Overall, the place is always well managed. It's clean, neat and the people are polite.

Every time we have been there and there was something that was unusual throughout the day it was always handled and handled professionally. The food always looks good and they always have something different for them to eat all the time. My aunt is pretty pleased with it. The service is great. The Christmas and Spring programs are excellent. Throughout the week they have different activities for them to do. The tenants seem to enjoy it. The apartment always seems to be clean and I have never seen anything that hasn't been maintained. The care givers work with my aunt well. She also has one of the doctors visit her there and she seems to not mind working with the doctor as well. They are very friendly. I think it is a pretty decent place.

What this community is doing for my mom is absolutely fabulous. They have a great staff and a great program for taking care of people, and it's just wonderful. My mom has always gotten help when she's needed it. In terms of maintenance, at just the mere mention of something, it is taken care of. The building is very pretty. My mom's room is just absolutely clean all the time, and the laundry service is pretty nice. For activities, I think they have such a broad range of things. My mom rarely skips a meal, and the dining service is very good. The management team is a very excellent group of people. They have everything covered. They do everything they promised to do. I appreciate everything they do over there.

Everybody is very friendly. The management has to be pretty good or else they wouldn't be walking around smiling and saying hello to people. They call the residents by name, which is great I think. My husband says the food is very good. They are assigned a table and the hot entrée is brought to them. She said they had choices and if they don't like something they will bring them something else. My husband says it is like home cooking. They have a beautiful dining room, makes you think about a lodge or something. The care must be okay or he would be complaining.
