Heritage Place of Fredericksburg

Every place else we've looked into is right at the same rate, so it's a pretty good price. The management staff answer questions and return calls and I have never gone in when it wasn't spotless. It definitely gives you the appearance of an apartment and not a nursing home. I think the experience has been great, it's a very nice facility for assisted living for what he needs right now, I think he's in safe hands.

The value is there and it is in the ballpark. The food is very good and my mom has been happy with every meal. The staff is very helpful and the care she receives is very good. We have already recommended it to people we know. Everything is done well at Heritage Place.

We were looking for places for my mom and within the location of Fredericksburg, it seemed to be the best community and her friends are there. The dining has been exactly right and everything I had there is delicious with the wait staff being very attentive and I really like that. She has plenty of activities to participate in, the maintenance is A-1 and I pay for medication to be administered, but they're always prompt with that. Overall, they've been very good with mom and have bent over backwards to make her feel welcome and cared for.

We moved my grandmother to be closer to family, but she had been there almost a year and a half. Everything was great. The caregivers were excellent. Management was very helpful and professional, and very courteous. Housekeeping was always very tidy and there were always activities happening. She loved one of the Maintenance guys. The value is good, especially considering where we are now.

Since moving my mom in the caretakers have all been very friendly and compassionate. Everything has been great. The community is lovely, very nice. It has a very non-institutional feel, it feels very much like a community so that's great. The dining staff ask her what they can do, if they can set aside anything, they have an option where she can order ahead for the evening... The staff has absolutely been great and she likes the menus. It's very safe and secure, she likes the bathroom accessibility and the bars. All of that has been a lot of peace of mind for me and the rest of the family so it's been great.

We chose this community for my aunt because it seemed to be more up to date, it was light inside and more inviting, clean and my aunt liked it. So far the management has been accessible. The dining seems adequate, my aunt hasn't had any complaints. Although she does not participate in activities, there seem to be some offered. Everything else has been good. The price is in line with everywhere else.

We visited several facilities and had strong input who spoke highly of Heritage Place. Management was very responsive, always positive and extremely helpful. I think he's been very satisfied with everyone on the healthcare staff that he's interacted with. My father has also been extremely satisfied with maintenance, dining, and housekeeping.

I chose this community for my father because "It was a nice building and well-staffed. Everything has been great. They've been good with cleaning the linens and taking the trash out every day. It's a very nice community. The cost is a little more, but you get a nicer experience, so I think it's worthwhile for the services they're getting.
