Island Shores Retirement Community

Everytime I go there it is clean and the building maintenance is very good. My Mom enjoys it so I am happy.

We are really happy here. We like it here. Lisa, the executive director, is responsive. You talk to her about stuff, and she looks into it. She is always friendly and upbeat. In regards to the activities, they try to do a lot of different things for the people in assisted living. My wife goes to exercise and the crafts. It is really nice. We play bingo too. They have something everyday. We get bi-weekly cleaning. The girl that does the apartment here always does a great job. The maintenance staff is real responsive. The care givers are really good. My wife presses her button, and they get here pretty quick. She never has to wait a long time for them to come and help her.

Management and the care givers are very helpful to my mother. I've seen the calendar and there's quite a bit of activities happening.

I think it's once of the nicest places in the area. My dad seems to like the food a lot. Hereally likes his caregivers. He has a very nice lady that comes in and cleans. Maintenance complete my requests in a timely manner. I don't have any complaints with management.

I think the activities they have are great. They have a bus and she does use it to go to Walmart or the grocery store. It's a great facility.

The staff all works together to take care of us, whatever needs to be done they do it. The housekeepers I've had in the seven years that I've been there have all been very good.

Management is very responsive and have responded to any of my requests quickly. There are plenty of activities here and my father loves the transportation.

The caretakers have responded faithfully. If you need help, maintenance is very good. We have an excellent housekeeper. I feel that I am getting my dollar's worth. You can't beat it!

We visited one other community and there was no comparison at all. His place is bigger than our first apartment and the view is unbelievable, so accommocations are more than adequate. My father absolutely loves the dining and activities are both, entertaining and well planned. The community is clean and the maintenance staff is very responsive. There have never been issues with housekeeping or laundry. Overall, he is in 7th Heaven there and loves it.

The management staff is very friendly. The dining menu looks like a nice selection and the food is elegantly served. The last time I looked at one of the sheets, they had two or three activities going on every day of the week. The care staff have been real good.
