Lake Barrington Woods

Management at the community has always been wonderful with handling my issues. We've had a great rapport with the nurses there and the maintenance staff takes care of things right away. They have quite a few different activities every day. The food is wonderful and they have quite a few different options. We get weekly emails on how everything is going. All in all, my mother in law feels safe and comfortable at the community.

The value of the community was satisfactory and worth it. The nurses were wonderful, cared and they had very good communication. With anything that happened, someone from maintenance would always address the issue. They provided different activities for the residents. The kitchen really tried to come up with a variety on the menu for the residents and the servers were friendly. The communication between myself and management was always really good. All in all, I am very grateful for the care they gave my mom.

They do a nice job there. They're very accommodating with all the people. They keep everybody informed and they look after the residents, and they are on top of the game. There's plenty of activities if you want to participate, and maintenance is outstanding. We have no complaints with the community at all, it's outstanding.

The management is fantastic. The way that they have handled this whole COVID-19 thing they have been great. They have kept us up to date. We have gotten almost daily emails letting us know what is going on. The communication is really great. The maintenance staff seem to be on top of everything. The staff is doing a great job. We are very happy that they are there especially during this time.

The community is better than a nursing home. The aesthetics of the building always look nice, the maintenance staff is always right there and the laundry services are fine. There is always something going on activity wise and the residents seem to like them. I have eaten there several times and the food there is very good. When you need something, the management is right there to help at all times. Overall, she feels safe and comfortable, so I definitely would recommend it to others because it works well for us.

I am very happy with the facility. It seems like a happy place. The management team is very helpful and very professional. They made moving my sister in very easy. I was very impressed with them. The activities are very good. There was a fellow in there playing the piano when we were there and he was very excellent. I enjoyed the performance. I know that she has been involved in some of the other activities like coloring. Everything seems to be very nice there and very clean. It appears that everything is brand new. The building looks very nice. The care givers are very good, very efficient and very friendly. We are very happy.

Management is very accommodating, very good at following up, attentive to our needs and they have great communication. The food here is tasty for the most part and is better than other assisted living communities that I have eaten at. The dining service is excellent, her apartment looks clean when I visit and the building is excellent. The caregivers here have been very diligent. This community is very nice.

Pam and Ben and those guys are very, very helpful. They did a very good facilitating all that needed to happen. I have no complaints about the whole management structure. As far as the number of activities and the variety they are good. I see the activities list on the wall and people doing things and it looks fine. The housekeepers come by once a week or once every other week. The place gets clean. The facility is really nice. They did a remodel a couple of years ago and the building itself is fine. Everybody is very friendly and they do go out of their way to have activities.

I think the management is really great. They've been very responsive. When I've gone, I've always liked the food. The facility seems very clean to me. It is beautiful and immaculate. I'm happy with this community, and the brunch is nice for families on the weekends. They're all great.

I think this community is run wonderfully, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Lake Barrington Woods. My dad is absolutely thriving, and we are just so fortunate that we found this community for him. My dad is thrilled with the transportation services. It runs perfectly for him. The maintenance has just been great, and the building is beautiful. The housekeeping is very good. The staff is very involved with everybody. In terms of activities, it looks like it's active and going. The food is delicious, and my father loves it. The management team does everything the way I think it's supposed to be done. I couldn't be happier. I find it to be a good value.
