Lake Barrington Woods

Just the fact that my Dad is well cared for and in a good place means the world. His apartment is perfect for him. It is well laid out. The management staff have been responsive whenever I've had a question or a concern and they've been right on it. The maintenance staff are responsive and take care of the problem. The building and grounds are beautiful and the remodeling is gorgeous. The nurses that do care for my dad have been very kind and are constantly communicating with us when we have a question. They are great.

Management is confident, caring, highly skilled and responsive. The activities coordinator does a wonderful job and there is always something available. The maintenance staff is very competent and I think the building is maintained well. I like the food here and the housekeeping is excellent. We are very satisfied with the price and my brother loves his apartment.

The staff is absolutely wonderful. The food is good and they do a good job with the different activities. They just renovated the building with painting and new furniture, I think they do a very nice job. Mike, Pam, Janice, and Peggy are all wonderful. The lady that cleans my apartment is wonderful.

The nurses are all very good, and the maintenance staff is very responsive. Looking at flyers that come and the schedules that are published, the activities look outstanding. Management is very good at communication and they're responsive when we have questions or concerns.

The other places mom and I visited were about the same price but offered less services. Her apartment is very nice. Maintenance set up her TV, they’ve been good, and housekeeping is fine. My mother seems to enjoy the food, and she’s enjoyed the activities. She's done a number of things there, water aerobics, crafts, and chair yoga so far. We haven't had any problems, everybody’s been responsive.

I'm really satisfied with what I've got here. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and you can make friends. The residents are really friendly. There are places around town that are less expensive, but they're not as good as this place.

I think the folks that run the dining do a very good job of trying to come up with new ideas and foods and the servers are very kind to my parents. There is a good variety of activities offered and transportation is always offered when it's needed.

The food is excellent and the variety is great. We want to eat there instead of a restaurant! The handyman is fabulous. They just did a gorgeous rehab on everything and we are beyond satisfied.

Management is very attuned to the individual needs of the residents and they are very open to communication and collaboration with me. The food is fine and from what I see posted on the board the activities look fine. Housekeeping does a fine job with the laundry and the building is beautiful. This is a very attractive community.

I have never seen anywhere with such a responding, courteous, friendly, willing to do anything staff as the front office. They are just marvelous.
