The Landing of Stow

The nursing staff is wonderful and there is a good variety of activities. They really go out of their way to bring in entertainment and address a lot of different needs. Also, the maintenance has been very good and they have done a lot of remodeling since my folks have moved in there. It's excellent!

I would say they are doing a very good job. They are very responsive especially now with things that are occurring. We have had very good response from the community. There are plenty of activities and they really try to keep the residents active. There hasn't been any problems with care and she is being checked on.

It seems to be a kind, compassionate environment with kind and compassionate people. There is a variety of food in dining and it tastes good. She seems to enjoy the music down in the lobby. Somebody gives communion, she has talked about that. There is lots of things going on. I know you have the garden and crafts. I am very happy with that aspect. Her room is always clean when I make it to see her. I have never seen it dirty. She used the transportation to an appointment and I met them there. The driver was excellent and very friendly.

The management in memory care is excellent. She is always on hand. I see her working with the residents. She really is doing a good job. I am there sometimes for lunch to help her eat and the food smells good. She has a good apartment and they clean it well.

I am pleased with the operation there. Andrea the new director there is very pleasant and very cordial, knowledgeable and attentive. In regards to the activities, I know they have exercise classes and they have people come in to entertain. There are good options there. The room and the building always seems to be clean and they are attentive to that. The healthcare staff is very attentive. If there is any issue that might pop up regarding her health or her status needs there, they have communicated with me.

The nurses have been wonderful. They are available. Some of the staff goes out of their way with phone calls and updates. The activities are wonderful. They always have activities and things available and several times a day. They have reached out to him and planned special things. The dining seems just fine. it's perfect portioned for the residents. It has always been very nice and good. The servers will make sure my dad is getting something he likes. Any time there may have been a slight issues, the management team made sure the issue was addressed and corrected. I love the entire feel of the community. The price is fair for the services received. The accommodations are perfect. I absolutely love it there. It's a welcoming and inviting space.

Sylvia especially has been really great with working with us. When a problem has come up, she has really taken the bull by the horns and tried to fix things. She not only listens, but when you come up with a solution, she follows through and does it. They have activities. They encourage her to play piano, and I think that is fantastic. She told me about them going out and throwing rings on bowling pins. I have come around the corner and seen the staff being really kind. So even when someone isn't watching, I believe they're trying to be kind and nice. They've got a good staff.

The management has really gone out of their way. We have been there going on seven months, and they have responded to every request we have made. The dining staff go out of their way, and they really work at if what is being served or what they are serving isn't to their taste. They find substitutes that they are interested in. The variety is excellent, and the service is good. The activities director is outstanding. My mother loves her. They have a good variety of activities, and they challenge them. They don't just entertain them, but they really challenge them to be involved and participate and challenge their minds. The housekeeping and laundry is on the top end. The girls that work there totally take care of her. They do the laundry several days a week, and if there is anything special, they do it instantly. A guy named Steve is in charge of maintenance now, and he went out of his way to get my mother's room ready while we were in the hospital with her. He was on top of it. It is a nice facility. You can leave word at the desk for a work order ,and they pass it on. By the time we come back, it is taken care of. The care givers are super attentive to the residents and especially my mother. She is 103 years old, and she gets a lot of incredible amount of attention there. They are incredibily respectful and patient. They people that they hire really go out of their way. I have never not seen them be respectful towards the resident and do everything that can to help them. We found that it was the right place for everything combined. We are very pleased with it, especially with the people there and their effort to look out for her and her every need.

The management does a good job. My mom is very happy with the accommodations, and she feels very safe and very comfortable. The activities and the healthcare are fantastic. The value is good.

We are extremely satisfied. If the care staff feels something isn't right, they call and let me know. They keep me informed of things I need to get. The bus is very nice. There are a few times that I have had to rely on the facility for transportation, and they do well. Any time my mom has something that doesn't work, she just calls and the maintenance come in and take care of it. The building is very clean and very nice. My mother's room is spotless. It's as if my mom is on a cruise ship. There's always an activity to do everyday. I've had meals there, and they taste good. They serve good food. We have no problems. Our questions are always answered. The management is very responsive to any of our needs. We are very pleased with everything. I don't have to worry when I'm not around. There's such a calm and secure feeling with them being in charge of my mother's care.
