Locust Grove Personal Care & Memory Care

My mother has been at the community for 3 years and I don't want her anywhere else. They do the best they can with the activities given the function of the residents. The grounds are kept looking wonderful and everything looks good in the building. She eats pretty good there. The care staff are wonderful with my mother and they love her like she is their grandma. The management is receptive to issues and they resolve them. Overall, she feels safe, comfortable and she is doing well there.

Two people that I'd like to highlight are Michael Koons who is always accessible and always has a smile on his face. He tries to take care of any problems, and the Activities Director, Jo, just seems to go above and beyond what her duties are. Anytime I've had any questions or issues that arose, and I contacted them, they got back to me right away, and everything was resolved.

We feel like she is being very well cared for and everyone here has her best interests at heart. The staff takes very good care of the people who are there. They have a lot of aides available all the time, and you can always see them in the hallways and common areas. The food is very good and you can always get something like a deli sandwich or grilled cheese from the kitchen.

The management has been supportive and very nice with my mom. The dining staff do a very nice job, and my mom has had no complaints. The activities are very good. They go out of their way to include my mom. They do socials and games and entertainment. The maintenance staff has been very responsive. My mom has used the transportation on occasion, and it was very accommodating and very good. The vehicles are in great condition. The care staff are absolutely respectful. No place is perfect, but I have been very, very pleased, and I think the staff are all just great and truly care. It is a lovely place, and I know that my mom is happy there.

It seems like my sister has been treated pretty good here. The food looks good, she seems to like the activities here, and the building looks very good. I think this is a pretty good place.

The care staff takes very good care of my sister. I have no complaints whatsoever. They're always checking on her, so that's good. As far as the maintenance goes they're marvelous. You couldn't ask for better guys. Her bathroom is always clean. Her whole area is always clean. I think the activities are very good. The activities directors are wonderful. They're very caring. The management team is on top of everything, and every time I needed something addressed, they take care of it. I have told several people to go here because I think the value is exceptional.

The people working at my wife's community are friendly and outgoing. There is a variety of activities offered, and they try to keep the residents going with things like bingo. My wife likes the food, and they have options she likes. I am satisfied with her accommodations, and she feels both safe and comfortable. The maintenance man is right there if something breaks, and the building looks satisfactory. The housekeeping staff is quick and pleasant, so I couldn't ask for more really. Overall, the management runs a neat ship, and I am very thrilled with the whole operation.

Management has been very helpful and nice. I couldn't ask for more. They are very pleasant and help me a lot. The dining staff is very pleasant with everyone who is eating their lunch. His room is always nice, neat, and clean. The bathroom is spotless all the time. The building is in very good condition. The caregivers are all very nice and good. They are very respectful and helpful. They give me an answer right away when I ask questions. We were lucky to get him into this community. He is getting the attention he needs, and he is satisfied being here. I am satisfied with him being here, and my children and I are very happy with the care he is getting.

I'm just thrilled. Everybody has been just wonderful. We're very pleased. I was in the business, so I looked into a lot of facilities. I think they do a really, really good job. They just very responsible and kind people. I have never seen them be anything but kind and patient. The med techs work like crazy. Any time I've asked the maintenance team to look into something or hang a picture, they're fine. As far as housekeeping, the place is clean all the time. The activities director seems like she's very much on the bar. There's certainly a long enough list of activities. Everything in the dining department is very nice. The waitresses are fine, and it seems to be pretty efficient. I find the food to be good. My mother raves about it. Lisa, the marketing director, walks on water for me. I'm very pleased with Michael, and I liked Verionica. We discussed a lot of things with managment, and they were very willing to work with us. I would recommend it in a heartbeat.

We moved my brother to this community to improve his quality of life and it has. The management staff is respectful, accessible and responsive. The building is maintained and the apartment is satisfactory. He is very happy with the housekeeping and laundry services. The day to day people are excellent. He's comfortable with the activities and has been down once to participate in a movie already. He is satisfied with the food, says himself that he feels like he is in good hands and I think the value is good. All in all, everyone has been very friendly, kind, helpful and just supportive. If someone asked me about it, I'd tell them it's a great place to be.
