The Lynmoore at Lawnwood Assisted Living and Memory Care

There is a wide variety of activities offered, they have music, painting things and ice cream socials. The healthcare staff has the patience of saints.

Mom seems very content and happy living at the community, so I recommend it all the time. The management and aides are wonderful and the healthcare staff are always right on top of anything. The residents are always engaged in something, like dancing, trivia games or even making parfaiting, so there is always something going on and they even have people come in to play music.

There are so many activities going on when we are there. Mom says this is the cleanest place she has ever been in. She is 102 and seems to be enjoying the food. The care she is receiving here is great.

The dining staff lets me know when my mother eats or not, so they're wonderful. Building maintenance is satisfactory and in general, things are clean. The Activity Director is excellent, very caring and loving, so she really loves the people and all in all, it's been a good experience for her at the community.

The management is always polite. Everyone always says hello. The maintenance is probably the best you can get there. My dad's main nurse, Olga is fantastic. She keeps up with him and she always calls me if she thinks there is something I should know about. She is really on top of taking care of him. I don't think I could ask for a better nurse. I think it is a nice place and 99% of the people there are nice people and they are very good with dealing with their clientele.

I chose this community for my mother-in-law because my husband has been a resident there for a couple of years. I'm very pleased with the new management. They've only been there for a couple of months and I'm very pleased with a lot of the changes they've been making. My mother-in-law thinks the food is wonderful, she's very pleased with everything. The healthcare has been excellent. My mother-in-law absolutely loves the gentleman that is taking care of her. Maintenance has also been helpful.

My great-aunt seems really happy with the food and dining service. She’s happy with activities too. My great-aunt will be 97 so does require a two-person assist and they handle her very well. When I was down there and we bought her a new TV maintenance was helpful moving the old one out and setting the new one up. I don’t have any safety concerns, we're pleased with her room, and though her care is expensive, the value is good.

We are extremely pleased. I contacted a "A Home for Mom" and they gave me five selections. I interviewed all five of them. Just the way Lynmoore presented themselves and especially Diedre. They went completely out of their way to find out what was going on. Lynmoore knows how to work with dementia people. We are getting the kind of care that is good for dementia people. The management is very professional and they have a lot of compassion. They understand what you are going through and they just make it easy. They give you their cell phone numbers…they want you to call them even after hours. The whole move in process was texting back and forth and calling when we needed to. It is just wonderful. Mom is not participating but they take her to the activities anyway so that she is surrounded by people. From what I see it is designed for the mental area that they are at. Maintenance was just great. The grounds and the building are immaculate. It is bright and it is clean and it smells normal. The care givers are gentle with her and they don't argue with her. They are just a wonderful group.

Management is amazing and the activites are pretty good from what I've seen, the last one we had was a family oriented get together. They had a guy playing music and dancing, everybody was out there and the staff was involved in dancing with them, they always seem to be doing something with them. The healthcare staff seem to be very friendly and if you ask them something, they answer and are really pleasant and seem very caring so I do like that.

My mom has been at Lynmoore for almost a year and I haven't had any problems with management. The healthcare is good, I have no complaints. They monitor my mom pretty well. My mom doesn't go to many of the activities but they do have a lot offered.
