The Lynmoore at Lawnwood Assisted Living and Memory Care

I am satisfied with the accommodations my grandmother is provided at Lynmoore at Lawnwood and she feels safe at the community. The new manager seems to be making some really nice improvements that we're pleased with and the dining service seems fine. She doesn't participate in activities enough, but I know she likes the exercise classes and that they're consistently offered, so the activities are satisfactory. The laundry is taken care of fine and the maintenance guys helped install her TV, so they have been fine too. Regarding transportation, she has been satisfied with the service and says the drivers are hilarious. In terms of care, the medicine administration is great, so we're satisfied with her stay at the community and still think it's the best option for her in the area.

There's very good leadership, they're very good, she answers phone calls and is very receptive to everything. The social activities and transportation services are very good. The lobby, the entrance is very good, very clean, I think all the rooms are really good. In terms of care, the staff walk around and check on everybody so I think that's very good.

It was a very nice facility, Dee the Sales Manager, was very nice, and it just checked all the boxes all around, the location, the nursing, cleanliness of the facility, the food. Management was very nice, accommodating and straightforward. They seem sincere and like they care about the residents, they were very easy to work with. The room was ready and clean, it's a very nice facility. My mom says the food is very good, she seems to like it and always finds something she likes to eat, and the staff in the dining area has been very good. The doctor that came by and the nurses have all been good. I think it's a little bit more expensive than some of the other facilities we looked at but it offers the premium care, the facility is nice and the nurse and doctor and transportation services. We made the decision to accept the additional costs because of the additional services, so I think we're getting a fair value for the price.

The managers keep an eye on dad, let me know if there's any problems, and communicate well. The care staff is usually pretty on top of what's going on or what's wrong and addressing problems. Maintenance comes and assesses your needs as quickly as they find out about them. The activities are pretty good. We’re satisfied with the overall value.

I would give the management very high marks. Stephanie and Sharon and all of them have been very accommodating. I can tell you that bringing Imelda into the dining room it seems very clean and upscale. They were helpful in setting up her TV when she moved in. The little that maintenance has had to do they have taken care of. The building looks nice. I can't site any deficiencies with the healthcare.

My mom needed special care and the community was the only one who had that capability and were licensed to allow them to do that. Management and the healthcare staff have been great and the overall building maintenance is very good. All in all, I think everything is going great.

My father moved out of Lynmoore at Lawnwood, but the accommodations were fine and felt comfortable at the community. Management always tried to accommodate us, I thought the food was fine and the girls in the dining experience were amazing. If you needed maintenance or if anything was going on in any of the units, the maintenance guys were very accessible and the common areas were beautiful. They did a new renovation with new furniture and they were doing their best to keep the place up, so maintenance was overall satisfactory. He used transportation to go to Walmart and the driver was always good, even I went with him a few times. Overall, I'd recommend it because they have good staff there and the Executive Director is amazing.

Everything is great at Lynmoore at Lawnwood, my father loves it there. Management is respectful, accessible and responsive, so they're just awesome. My dad loves the food and he seems really happy with the all he does in terms of activities. I came to pick him up for church yesterday and he was busy doing exercises, forgetting about church, so that was really positive. I am satisfied with the apartment cleaning and consistency of service, including the maintenance department. They have been excellent in helping him move into another room and the building looks really nice. In terms of my father's care, The Nurse has been very good and she has always been helpful so it's been a good experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to others.

The price is fair because my dad is watched every day, fed, well cared for and everything is clean at this community. Maintenance has been very nice, helpful, positive and upbeat. The director of memory care is very helpful and knowledgeable. We had a very good experience in the admission process and working with management. I know my dad enjoys his breakfast. It looks like the food is good and they help him sometimes if he needs it. They will coax him and remind him to eat because sometimes he sits there and forgets to eat. They have FaceTime Fridays so family members out of town can see the resident. Everything seems to be okay maintenance wise. The caregivers are very attentive and I don't see a lot of turnover there. I see the same people when I go in. They attend to him quickly and they immediately call me as soon as he falls or they notice he has a cut or a bruise. They generally seem to care for the residents and they talk to them. They seem to handle it well and they know how to handle it. It doesn't rattle the staff.

Management has been pretty accommodating and helpful when we have needed it. My mother-in-law loves the activities and I know she goes down to eat every day.
