The Lynmoore at Lawnwood Assisted Living and Memory Care

Somebody recommended Lynmoore to me, and my loved one moved in. Maintenance was pretty helpful with the move-in and her apartment is pretty clean. I launder her clothes, housekeeping launder her bedding and do a pretty good job with that. You pay for what you get, and she is safe and comfortable there.

Since my mother moved in almost two years ago, the food is good and the service is good. Housekeeping and laundry are good, as is maintenance. They have taken very good care of her.

My mother lived at this community for five months before she passed away. The price was very fair for the services they provided. Her room was easy for her to manuever around. It was a compact room and everything was right there for her. We dealt with two people in management: Ashley and Jenna. They were very knowledgeable and helpful with anything that we needed for my mother. They wanted to make sure everything was satisfactory. Whenever I called management and they were not available, they got back to me really soon. Wayne, the director of nursing, was extremely knowledgeable. He gave us his personal cell phone if we needed anything. He would answer his phone right away or get back to us as soon as he could. The staff tried to get my mother motivated to participate in the activities. My mother's room was always clean and well organzied. She stayed in her room a lot and would kick people out of her room. If the housekeepers came to do her cleaning and she kicked them out, they would give her some time and try to come back. If that didn't work, they would wait some more time. They definitely tried. Everything was returned, folded, and put in her closet or drawer. The overall maintenance of the community itself was very well kept. The general areas, the outside and her room were kept up. The nurses were in contact with me if there was an issue with her. They were calling me and I could speak to her if she threw a tantrum. They went the extra step. Hospice had to come in and they were very good. They were both very good and knowledgeable. She lived in three previous memory care community but they were unable to handle her. This community was able to handle her and that was a result of the staff they have here.

The Lynmoore at Lawnwood is a well run place and he would still be there if it wasn't for his sister wanting him to come up. The care givers always kept in touch and let me know what was going on right from the wellness director and down. It is a nice looking place. The maintenance staff do a good job. The staff are all very professional at the Lynmoore.

My wife and I feel the value is very good. It's one of the reasons that my mom's there, it's a beautiful community and the price is right. The caregivers take care of mom, if she even scratches her finger they contact us and let us know. The management team also responds well and keeps me informed. Every time we're down there there's plenty of food served in the dining room, they make sure mom has what she wants. They have a good menu and everything is hot and fresh. The activities there are excellent, and maintenance keeps everything maintained. Mom's said it's the cleanest place she's ever been in her life. I hope they keep up the good work!

My mom has lived at Lynmoore at Lawnwood for over a year and a half now and although it's expensive, she has a private room, the building has a very nice appearance and I would say it's worth the money compared to other places. Management takes care of my mom and one of the aides in particular is friendly with her. For the most part the nurses are all very nice to my mom and put in a big effort to do things for her. I would also say the dining is good. I would highly recommend this community to others for their loved ones.

My loved ones have lived at Lynmoore at Lawnwood for almost three years now. The nurses are always friendly and helpful. If need anything, the nurses are always there with a smile. If there's ever an issue, they'll call me and tell me right away. They always comment that the food is good and the staff are all accessible.

I liked the people that I met with and I thought it was a very nice looking place. The management staff has been very helpful with me and the activities are very good. I think the maintenance has been good and my client appears to be pleased with the dining. I think it is a good value for the services.

When I went over and observed it seemed nice and clean and the people seemed to be friendly. From what we saw, we thought it was a much nicer place than where she was. From where we came from, it's great and I think the building is nice. Everything is very nice and professional in the dining room. My sister and I pay five dollars and go in for meals from time to time and everyone is nice and pleasant and professional. I think it's a fair value.

I think that management communicates very well with me if they need something or if there is a problem with mom. Activities does a fantastic job and you have realize these are people that can't do too much, but they always encourage them to participate even if they don't know what they're doing. If I ever have a problem, it is always promptly taken care of whether it's a lightbulb, a fixture, the AC or anything. I think we have ahd our concerns, but for the most part this is a good place for my mother.
