The Lynmoore at Lawnwood Assisted Living and Memory Care

One of the things I have noticed here is that at Lynmoore they all communicate and know who my mom is, what my mom is doing and what's happened to my mom, which I greatly appreciate. She has been participating in all of the crafts in acivities, which has been great for her aswell. The building always looks nice. The main guy did a real good job at helping move my mom in. Ashley, Courtney and Wayne are amazing at the front and I don't think you could get a better atmosphere when you walk in. You feel welcome, my mom enjoys them, for example, my mom calls Wayne her best friend. The staff just go over and above.

Management answered all of our questions, were very helpful, and gave us all the information we needed. The Move-In manager and Head of Nursing were impressive. They were nice. The activities are good. I've seen singing, entertainment, and puzzles. They have things good for his level and he enjoys that. The building is very well kept up, very nice. Overall, I think things are going well.

The staff has been very nice and helped with anything we have needed. The lady at the front desk always greets you with a welcoming smile when you walk in. My dad has a lot of activities available for him to enjoy. The maintenance and housekeeping staff are both very good at what they do.

My brother has lived at Lynmoore at Lawnwood since August of 2014. Management is charismatic, personable and compassionate with the residents. When I go in with questions, they're willing to help and resolve issues I may have. They know their residents and they know where they normally sit in the dining room, so if someone isn't there, they go and get them. The building is very well maintained. They do a sufficient job with the care. I'm satisfied.

I hesitate to move my wife because there are some people there who go all the way to make sure they do a good job, and I like those people. There are a couple of people that work in the area that she's in that make a total difference to me. They clean all the time! I think that housekeeping does a fine job. She has been pleased, so as am I.

When I go down and visit the management staff is very helpful. I can call anytime and they will answer my call and answer my questions. My parents really enjoy the activities. When my mom had to move from the room with my dad to her own room they were awesome. They helped tremendously. We had to get new stuff for my dad when my mom moved and they helped us unload the truck and they helped us move moms stuff from her old room to her new room. The building is beautiful. The caretakers have been great. If there is an issue I can call and they will talk to me and they will address it. They all know them by name and they talk to them. They give them their medication on time. There is even a girl that my mother adores. She came in when I was getting ready to leave...if anyone can do anything this girl can. They treat her like she is part of the family. It is nice to know that they are being cared for. They give them their showers and help her with dressing. I have no worries with having them there.

The vehicles look like they are in very good shape. My mother-in-law enjoys the activities very much. I haven't had a lot of interaction with the management, but Courtney was very helpful. We haven't had any issues with the dining or care staff. It's a good place.

They are doing a great job and I hope they keep it up. If something comes up they're not aware of, the staff do something about it. That's the main thing. The thing that sells that place, in my mind is the minute you walk in the door you're greeted. My father-in-law likes the singing and the dancing and stuff like that. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The management staff that is at the community are good. Maintenance has been helpful. A couple times the door got stuck, and they fixed the lock on the door so it didn't do that again. The staff seems to be painting and doing everything that they're supposed to be doing. Activities have improved greatly. There are more different things that they can do now. My friend loves the pipes that you put in the holes. Every time he walks by he has to sit down and do it! They really try their hardest.

It's about the same as all of the other local facilities. The management staff is very accommodating to your needs. They keep her room very clean. Most of the CNA's are very good and take care of her. She hasn't complained, so I guess she feels safe.
