Mangrove Bay

Management does a very good job of being ahead of the requirements for the residents during the Coronavirus and the dining service is good. They do a good job of posting the activities, the housekeeping in her room is fine and the transportation is excellent. It's definitely worth the price.

Management is absolutely wonderful. They go out of their way to make sure we are all safe and happy. The activities director makes sure that everybody has a chance to decide what they want to do and there are always activities all day long. Housekeeping does a good job and the building is beautiful. It is a warm and functional. The transportation is always available and if you have an emergency they are right on it.

We have been here seven and a half years. We have evaluated other facilities that supposedly do the same kind of service. We have discussed this with our friends who may be in other locations and we feel that we are heads above everyone. We are thrilled and the value is here. We have a fine management team and excellent service. I have never seen a team that is so caring as they are. There is not one thing that they don't do the best job as humanly possible.We are being protected and all of the principles on how to control the virus we have it here. In regards to the dining, it is the most fantastic food and well balanced meal that we could possibly have. The food is just as good as any restaurant you would go to. Under the current situation, the activities director is doing so great. We have a bingo card, we have trivia things to do and we have a packet that is due for the week which has crossword puzzles and other things. We have live entertainment one day a week where we can go out on our balcony. She is doing an excellent job on getting people to participate. Housekeeping does a fantastic job. You see them everyday going around wiping the doors and wiping the railings. We have one employee in maintenance named John and he is superb. He not only comes in and does it but he tells us that if it is not working to call him and he would be right back. I have never seen anybody as devoted as him. He knows the business and knows what to do. He doesn't have to be supervised. Transportation is so good and so helpful as well. Right now, the transportation is doing our grocery shopping for us and they are doing a great job for us. They go grocery shopping and they deliver it back to our door. We have a list that we fill out and they also do mail delivery. We are very postive and outgoing all the time about Mangrove Bay.

Based on what is in the area, we are probably thought of by most as the best place in the area to be. The housekeeping and laundry has been good, the activities are well planned and the management is thoughtful and caring. I am very satisfied at the community. They are completely redoing the building. It is less than 20 years old. They even ripped up the beautiful marble floor and replaced it with a new modern one. Everything has been completely redone. We are still in the process, but everything I see so far is top quality.

The place is clean, the staff is wonderful and it is like a home. You get a good feeling when you are there. The care staff, maintenance, management and activities are wonderful. The transportation is also fantastic. My mother is in a wheelchair and they are able to transport her the right way. They go through all of the checks and balances.They are very well respected in the community here and lot of people would consider moving here.

I am generally pleased with the community. The service is good and everything on the Memory Care floor is great. I'm not aware of any problems with her laundry and her room appears neat. I commend the people on the second floor. They're tremendous.

My parents are very happy at the community. Transportation is available for church and the guys that drive are so nice. The maintenance staff has been great and the building looks satisfactory. They enjoy the activities and they like the opera, art class and glee club. They're very accommodating with offering half portions and the quality of food is great. Management is always very positive, smiling when they walk around and they're visible when visiting. I am satisfied with the accommodations and they feel both, safe and comfortable. Overall, for what they're getting, it is appropiately priced.

Everyone in management at the community seems to be really good and we've had no issues with any of them. The healthcare staff do a really good job and my mother is well taken care of. Everything seems to be clean and they just did a renovation in the building, it looks really nice. The Activity Director is responsible and gets the attention of everyone going. I am satisfied with the accommodations provided and she feels comfortable. Overall, we've been here over a year and it's been fabulous. She is safe and it's the best thing.

It's small enough that I know everybody and it's big enough that I get a choice of friends. Anything that needs doing is done. Management is very responsive. If we need a new activity, we get it. The other day my shower door did not close and within a day they were there to fix it. The building was painted last year and it looks beautiful. I am in a wheelchair so I use transportation and they are my friends. At one of my last places, they never took me into the doctor but here they take me in. It's a great place!

Everytime I have gone to the community everything has been clean and the bed is always made. I feel good about the value my father is receiving at the community.
