Mattison Crossing

Mattison Crossing is the third place he has been in in the last three months. It was recommended to us by another community. I am grateful I found Mattison Crossing. It's very costly, but at his other community they were always uping the price and talking about level of care and at least here it is fixed. He is getting one on one care and I am grateful. In terms of dining, it's not just good, he says it is excellent. I had lunch there and it was excellent. They have things like trivia, and he likes the mental games because he is not that old so he doesn't like the Bingo. There is a lot of musical activity, so very happy with the activities.He tells me they keep everything very clean. Laundry is done timely and he is very very happy. So far, everything has been very, very good.

The management has been very helpful. I thank them. Mattison Crossing is an immaculate place and housekeeping has been great. Since Milestone came in they have been doing a very positive job there.

We chose this community for my mother-in-law because it fit our needs. We liked the fact that there was physical therapy on the property, there was a doctor on the property and there was a chiropractor that came in. The management is outstanding. They actually call back on their personal time, we got lucky there. The care staff is compassionate and fantastic, I can't say enough about them. It's freshly painted and doesn't look dated at all. They have a daily, weekly and monthly calendar of activities and they even post it in the elevator. I think we're getting out monies worth and don't feel like we're getting ripped off.

For the most part, the management gets back to me and answer any questions I may have about my aunt. I have been there with her when she is eating and the food looks good. They seem like they have stuff everyday for her in activities. Her room is always immaculate every time I visit. It is always clean. I haven't had any complaints with the care staff.

My mom was only there for a respite stay but it is very convenient to me. I could walk there from my house in about 5 minutes. I think it is a reasonable price. They charge $250 a day. Other places charged more than that so I think it was reasonable. I dealt with the same person in management each time she has stayed there and she has stayed there five or six times in the last few years. The person we deal with is excellent. As far as I am aware, the food is good and the activities are good. The housekeeping was good. During her last stay here in May, I picked her up on the day her laundry was being done. They called me a week later saying they had some of her clothing. That was good. The building was clean and well maintained. All the caregivers were great. The people remembered me and mom and welcomed her back. I know they would have taken my call right away or returned my call right away. If I could afford it, my mom would be living there permanently right now. I think she would enjoy living there.

They have variations of different activities and the healthcare staff is very attentive. We're very pleased with the stay my mother is having over there and the care she's being given.

It has now been almost three and a half years that my sister has been there and I see the activities they do and I have been to one of her exercise classes. I think the maintenance department does a good job. The building is kept nice.

My mother chose this community becuase it was close to home. The management has been imformative to me and they let me know what is going on. The care staff seem to treat my mother well. There is a good variety of activities that she can do. Overall, everything is kept up very nicely.

My parents who are there and I think some caregivers, aides, like Lonnie or Esther, are really good and go out of their way. Heidi, Christine, Stephanie, Saundra, they're all very caring. I think maintenance is good and I think the place is basically clean, it doesn’t have an odor in the apartment, things like that.

I have looked at the menu from the dining department and it looks fair to me. It looks like they have a good daily mix of choices. The cleaning lady comes every Thursday and she does a very good job. I check the bathrooms and all and it is done very well. I am pleased with the beautiful mums they have planted outside and the patio chairs are all clean as well. The maintenance appears to be on top of their game. The staff in activities and care do a good job of encouraging her to participate in things and go downstairs to eat.
