Mattison Crossing

Searching around and talking with other people before I made the decision and I was with Brookside they were very fair on the price. My mother-in-law says the food is very good and the dining staff are responsive, any time she wanted anything they're there to give it to her. There's a lot for her to do downstairs in Rose Lane, they have her active in all different things, bingo, they play games and knit and paint, they make art, they have a lot going on for them and when she was upstairs she was very busy as well. I go there and her laundry's done, the housekeeping staff are there every day, I find her room to be immaculate. All the nursing staff there is excellent, the girls there are very good and conscious of her needs, they take very good care of her. They're there all the time, when I'm there at night they're always there. I think it's an excellent place to be at and getting better.

My mom has been at Mattison Crossing for over 2 years now and I'd say the prices are where they should be, so the value is fair for the cost since she is safe and comfortable at the community. Activities are offered in terms in quantity, quality and are very engaging so they're great with them. There are never any issues with housekeeping, it's always well taken care of and The head of housekeeping is exceptional in responsiveness and being accommodating towards requests. Maintenance always seems to be in good order and rhe care staff seems very compentant at what they're doing. The ones in particular that we have been dealing with, I can say are very good so all in all it has been a good experience for our family.

I know my mom has been happy with the service she's gotten in the past three years there. The price seems to be fair as far as I can see. As far as the activities, mom's overall happy with it. Every time I'm there the building seems to be in good condition. Mom says when she needs something cleaned they take care of it in a timely fashion, with the laundry. I know the transportation is there if she wants it. She's had no issues that I am aware of with any of the nursing staff, they're respectful. I think she's happy there.

I think having mom here has been worth the money we have spent. Anyone I have ever spoken to here has all been super friendly and supportive. I do know mom loves playing bingo. Her apartment is totally clean and well taken care of. The care staff are all accommodating to moms needs. The place looks great. It seems to me very friendly and nice. I can’t say anything negative. From what I see, these people deserve medals.

They've been there a month and a half, and my mother and father like the place. The place is very clean, overall it's kept clean and smells fresh. Overall, mom nd dad feel Mattison Crossing is good. They like the staff, they like the attention, and they like the place and the area.

We went in there and everybody was really great there and we liked it so we signed my mom up. The management staff are all very nice and helpful and my mom likes the food there. We're seen some of the concerts they have there, they have a lot of stuff for my mother to do during the day so it's good. The place is immaculate, it's always clean, her room is always nice and clean, and the downstairs is always very nice. The healthcare staff look out for my mother, they keep an eye on everybody and seem to know where everybody is at all time. They all know everybodys' name and even know mine when I come in, from the front desk all the way through, everybody is very helpful there.

My mother moved into this communtiy because they seemed to have the most in terms of activities and services of the three communities I looked at. This community is beautiful and my mother liked it. Management has been extremely sweet, answered all of my questions, taken all of my phone calls and interviewed my mom. They found out she likes to read and they gifted her a little bookmark. They have gone above and beyond. The front desk is extremely kind and accommodating when I come in. I have eaten a few meals with her and they were delicious. The care that the staff takes with all the residents is amazing. I have seen the servers sit down and cut the meal for residents who are unable to. Everyday there is a calendar of events posted in the elevator and my mom can pick one up from the front desk as well. The downstairs bathrooms have always been clean, orderly and well stocked. She has not complained on how they are keeping her apartment. She appreciates that they are cleaning for her. Maintenance has gone above and beyond. I went to look at the apartment before she moved in and I ran into maintenance. He told me that he was not happy with how the rug looked and was going to take another shot at the two spots on it. I could barely see them and when we moved her in they were completely gone. They wanted the apartment to be perfect for her when she moved in. The common areas are very nice. I have not smelled or seen anything yet. I have seen maintenance people constantly keeping the place up. My mom's doctor did not send over all of my mom's medications so I sat down with the nursing staff and they made time for me. We went over her med list and they found the ones that were missing. They put her on a list where she was monitored closely to make sure there were no issues for her from not having those meds. The caregivers have been extremely accommodating and bring her her AM meds because she needs them really early. My mom goes down two other times in the day for her meds. The caregivers are very sweet to a lady who sits by the nurses area. The caregivers always have time to answer my questions. The staff all smile and say hello to everybody. I know someone is checking on her and she is getting fed. It is a lot less stressful for me. I like how there is medical staff around 24/7.

All of these communities are expensive but I think Mattison Crossing is a fair price. The activity staff are very engaging and do everything they can to include my mom in activities. The doctor at the community is very proactive and helpful, the nurses and aides often go above and beyond. Erica, who is the director on the memory ward, she is so extremely helpful she needs the kudos. Also, Charmain, Smokey, and Joan are all just great.

I would say so far I am satisfied and it is a better value than previous communities. My brother speaks higher of the food here at this community than any other he has been in. The housekeeping and maintenance department does a good job of taking care of the community. All the staff that I have interacted with have just been outstanding. They do a very good job and my brother is very pleased with the services that he is getting there.

The reason I chose the community is because it's close and so far the experience has been good. The management staff keeps me updated with her progress. Every time I go in there I usually see someone and they tell me how she's doing. According to my wife, the quality of the food is very good and the music they bring in is great. The housekeeping is impeccable and the healthcare staff is very good, I'm very satisfied.
