McLoughlin Place Senior Living

Everyone is really good when I go to talk to them. My mom seems really happy with the food. The variety is good and the service is fine. My mom seems to enjoy most activities that they do. The housekeeping has been really good. Kevin is really wonderful and very accommodating when we need him.

McLoughlin Place is right in line with everyone else. The management staff have been really good, they helped out a lot with the transition. My mom likes the food there and it seems like good food and the calendar is full of activities, every day of the month there's something going on. They have a public restaurant downstairs and that seems clean, the hallways are clean.

We have been at other places and McLoughlin is a lot better then other places. It is clean and it is a nice place. I think the food is fairly good. In regards to housekeeping, I know my mom really likes the ladies and trusts them. They are always really good about helping her when she is away like feeding her fish. I think the maintenance is pretty good. The maintenance man has been there a while and he has helped her in certain situations like setting up her TV. The RN is very helpful whenever the doctor contacts her. If my mom is sick they will come in and make sure she is doing ok.

Mom has been there almost five years and the food is pretty good. I'm not there often, but my mom always says the food is good. There's always activities, always something for them to do each day. Communication is good with the care giving staff, and transportation is pretty good. They always take her to her doctors' appointments and pick her up. It's usually pretty good to schedule. Housekeeping is good, and they always come in and offer to do her laundry. They always come in, check her room, clean, take out the garbage, it's always good. The managers handle everything good. The common areas are always clean and nice, and the price for the services is fair for now. Mom is comfortable there, she never complains. I always tell people about the place.

Given the space that they have they are doing the best that they can. I do feel she is safe and she seems to be ok. My mom eats it and she seems happy with the food. The service is really good. There is a good variety on activities and my mom enjoys them. They have sing alongs and she loves to go to that and she loves bingo. Her room usually looks pretty clean. Overall, I think the care givers do a very good job.

Mom likes her room and she feels the place is more homey there than institutional. The food is pretty good. They get three square meals a day. The people enjoy eating and the staff serves them nicely. For the people that can participate in the activities I think they have enough. The maintenance is good. I think the guys that take care of the faucets and everything like that do well. Honestly, for what it is, they keep the floors really clean. They do a good job.

My mom seems to enjoy the food. She likes fish and seafood and they have that quite often for her. I think the activities they hae are good for her. The quality of the work the people do is very good. I think the building looks good. They try to take care of it and it always looks nice. In terms of healthcare staff, I think they work very hard.

I really like the Memory Care activities, they're great, I interact with them the most when I visit my mom. Housekeeping has gotten better and maintenance is good. The meals have also gotten better, and the care in Memory Care is good. It’s absolutely a good value.

In the three years my loved one has been there the housekeeping seems good. When we go there it seems neat and tidy. The healthcare services are accessible and responsive as well.

I am satisfied with the services and accommodations my father gets at McLoughlin Place. Management did their job with getting him in there and they're getting his billing done, so I am satisfied with them. When you come into the community, it's clean and doesn't smell. With regards to the dining experience, I just had lunch with my father and thought it was really good. We received 2 entrée options and the service was attentive, so I was impressed. I think the staff is making him go to activities, which is a good thing and not a bad thing. When I visit, they have postings for what is offered that day or that week, so activities have been good. He room looks good and he needed his phone moved, but the maintenance crew did that rather quickly, which was satisfactory. The healthcare staff all really like my dad and have been really attentive. They make sure he has what he needs and gets it when he needs it, so I am very pleased with that part. Overall, it's been a good experience for him thus far.
