Merryvale Assisted Living

We were just really impressed with the amount of staff they have, how they interacted with the patients and the activities. It's very beautiful, well landscaped, always fresh and clean; it's very well kept. Management really walked us through every phase of everything. From the Director on down, they were just really helpful. Anything they could do to help, they did, it was wonderful. Any problem or concern we've had, they've addressed it immediately. For what you're getting, the staff and how well everything has gone, we have peace of mind there and that says a lot.

This community is worth every penny. It is a great place with excellent care.

We definitely like Gina in management and the way she works, she runs a very tight ship. They seem to do a very good job at providing entertainment for everybody there. We've never had any issue with anyone there, everyone has been friendly, helpful and good to her. The nurse practitioner and podiatrist are nice to have, the nurse who is on site to look out for them and make sure their medication is good and she really appreciates the hair and nail salon, that's all very good. The whole place is very well maintained and nice, I like it, if it was me, I'd go there.

Management is very easy to work with, they answer all of our questions, we have no problems with management at all. Maintenance has been very good and the housekeeper is very good as well.

My mom likes most everything, the caregivers are super.

The dining is beyond what we ever expected. I have eaten it with my mother-in-law and I liked it. She is pleased and we are thrilled. The housekeeping is superb. They are just wonderful. They take her stuff, they launder it, they press it, hang it up and bring it back all folded. The building is beautiful. They are always changing the décor to something fresh and clean. The care here has been beyond belief. They spoil my mother-in-law rotten.

The staff and the people here are very nice. Several people came by to introduce themselves when they were moving in. I think it is a very fair value and it is definitely worth what they are paying. We just love it here.

I think the management is really great. I haven't had any troubles. The activities are awesome. The care givers put up with a lot. It takes a special person to put up with my sister. They are so kind. They are great. I totally trust them and I couldn't ask for anybody else to take care of her.

All in all, I feel like it is a good priced facility for what all they are doing. I am pleased at all the activities offered for my mom to keep her cognitive level up. I think they are doing good with the housekeeping and maintenance. I think she is getting very good care there. I passed it by several times on my travels and thought it was a nice place for an assisted living facility. Then I liked what I saw on the tour. The employees seemed very happy. I'm at ease about everything.

My mother recently moved but I was very pleased with what they did for my mom. The services she received at the community were very good and she felt both, safe and comfortable living there. I live out of state, but management was good with keeping me updated. . One of the reasons I chose it was because of how nice it was with its homey atmosphere and condition, but even after her admittance, it always looked the same. The food was good and the times I was there when she was having her meals, she seemed to very much enjoy the dining. Healthcare staff cared for her really well, kept me informed and they seemingly thought a lot of her, so they did a great job and it was a wonderful experience.
