Mission Creek

The care staff seems to be doing a good job watching over my mom. There is nothing that ever needs to be done in the building. Ed, in maintenance, is on the ball when something needs to be done. Everything is really clean and they're always mopping the floors. My mom seems to be going out a lot for lunches and goes to the Dollar Store and Walgreens. They also keep her busy with bingo. The dining room servers do a good job coming out and asking everyone what they want to eat and making sure they get their food, the servers do a good job.

The community is excellent, it gives you a great impression when you walk in, everything is clean and people are friendly. It's homey and comfortable looking. The staff take care of my sister's laundry and help her with her room. Everything seems to be running pretty smoothly every time I'm there, everybody seems to get along and work well together, I can't think of a better place for her, the help and just the environment.

We moved my father-in-law into this community because of the location, the activites and the cleanliness. My father-in-law loves the food. He has only participated in bingo so far but the staff does advise my father-in-law on what activities are going on, which I think is good. Most places are about the same cost but this place seems a little nicer. Overall my father-in-law is happy there and I'm glad that we put him there.

The staff here is wonderful and they communicate well with me and my sister. The nurse keeps in touch with us. She has mom’s evaluation in a pleasant sit down environment. The front desk people are very pleasant when you come in. We are treated with respect and they treat mom with respect. The building is in excellent condition. They change up the decorations for the holidays and they have cookies for you when you come in. The dining staff is very kind. They know who wants what. They cater to the individual needs. The activities department has something every day for mom and then some. They take them to dinner, to festivals and lots of other places. They have a lot of in house activities as well.

You’re getting a lot here for your money. I really like the concierge they have in the front. You feel so welcome when you walk in. Every person was very caring. The maintenance department was fabulous. He helped get the computer and TV going, he was just a godsend. The grounds are beautiful, just gorgeous. Mom was pleased with the activities and dining departments as well. The care staff was very attentive. They made you feel like family.

The Activities Director and everyone is very nice and accommodating to me. They're coming to get my mom to remind her about things that are happening, I like dealing with Chelsea. She's really nice and my mom's been more and more active now that they're encouraging her to get out so I like that. She really enjoyed the motorcycle ride they had; I couldn't believe my 93 year old mom was on a motorcycle, we had a blast. It seems well done and well managed and the healthcare staff does call me when something's happening. My mom likes all the girls there, she says they take good care of her, she's always said that about the staff.

The price seems to be the average going rate in the area. The apartment is adequate for my mother's needs and she is certainly comfortable. The management team at Mission Creek is fine. I have no issues with them whatsoever. My mother tells me that she is happy enough with the food. I have to say that it is adequate for what she desires to eat. From my obeservations everything has always been very clean and very good.

My moms apartment is the perfect size for her. It is bright and cheery. The activities directors are highly energetic, kind and keep a good level of activites for the residents. Mom really loves the trips they take them on out of the community. Mom tells me all the workers are very helpful and friendly with her here.

Mom has lived here for about six month and she is being treated so well here. She has a nice room that I am very pleased with. She gets a good variety of options on the menu for meals and if she doesn't like something, they have an alternate menu to choice from. She is so happy with the activities. She is never in her room. They go out to eat, get ice cream, to the movies. They have movie night in house, karaoke, bowling, bake, they do crafts. She sure does stay busy.

It is a nice place, they are friendly and make sure something is always going on. I feel it is pretty well managed. They take time to listen to us when we have questions or concerns about my brother. Anytime I have had a need from the care team they have always complied. The building is quite attractive and clean and there are never any odors. I have no complaints.
