The MonteVista at Coronado

I chose this community because they treated me royally; they invited me for brunch, dinner and special events during the time we toured. I was very impressed with the staff and the attentiveness of the staff. Overall the impression was very favorable. The management staff is all very courteous, very attentive; they've taken care of all of my needs and addressed all of my questions. The staff in the dining room is top notch, very helpful, very courteous. The food is good as well as the quality and the variety, I couldn't ask for better. Even though the building is old, it's well maintained.

It's been a lovely place, my mom has been there for close to ten years and we've been happy. Management has been very good and I really like the new management, everybody who lives here is very supportive of one another and are all friendly and know each other well. The staff is very supportive, their laundry and housekeeping services were good. Overall I think the dining room is very good and the service was absolutely excellent.

My granddaughter insisted I come here, her husband had an aunt and grandmother that lived here, so she wanted me to move here. Management is very nice and accommodating and the food is very good, there is a variety, they're doing a great job. I do an exercise three times a week and I like the transportation service, I just used it to go grocery shopping, they take you there and pick you up. Everyone is friendly, I have no complaints at all.

I moved from out of state and my brother found it for me. He lives here and wanted his sister close by. The management is very attentive, kind and nice. I think the food is excellent and the servers are darling. It appears that everybody is happy with the activities that are offered. My housekeeping has been very nice and the building maintenance is excellent. I am very happy here.

There aren't enough words to describe how well things are there. The elderly are so well taken care of there. We only have good things to say. The few short weeks Mom was there she was so happy. She had made a lot of new friends and loved the activities. The housekeeping people were so kind and attentive to her. If we know anyone else in need we are definitely going to recommend the community to others.

My husband and I moved into this community because my husband came and saw it and really liked it here. I think the price is very reasonable and I do not feel unsafe living here. Whatever you ask for is taken care of very quickly. Management is very easy to approach. I don't know if you can find better food. This chef is really good. I don't know how they get these servers in here. They are just excellent. I would be proud to say they were related to me because they are so good. They know what you want before you can even ask for it. The lady who cleans our apartment does a very good job. It is much better than I have ever done in my life. I had a doctor's appointment during the time she usually comes and she rescheduled my cleaning. You ask and maintenance will come. The building is pretty good. The maintenance team is just spectacular. They are good and kind. They are very nice. I have never smelled anything that smelled wrong.

I moved in becuase I had previous information from a close friend who has lived here for three years. Management is very knowledgeable and the dining service is very helpful, they're amicable and gracious. When you call for assistance, maintenance comes within ten to fifteen minutes, it's not a five star, it’s a seven star. I've met Maria and Sylvia is great, so many wonderful people have come to assist me. The activities on the sheet are phenomenal.

We were remodeling the house and had workers, so my wife thought I should be away from dust and out of the way. We looked at MonteVista and one other community for a respite stay and I chose here. I thought the price was acceptable, my apartment cleaning and the whole building are excellent. Laundry was very good. There were enough activities and there were interesting ones. The food was excellent, excellent. Good quality and good choices. I enjoyed it.

Someone recommended it, when I walked in, I was at home. It's very safe and secure. I've been telling my friends to come over, I'm trying to get them to move in. I am getting my money's worth here. I love my apartment. I even got to choose my granite countertops and flooring. It's gourmet food, and the chef is amazing. The hardest part is choosing from all the choices. The dining staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had a meeting yesterday to plan outings activities for next week. They gave me a housekeeper who is great. Maintenance took care of a couple things I needed which was very nice. I feel at home!

I lived somewhere else for 3 years, I chose this because there's lots of activities and good food. I have a beautiful view; I'm right across the hall from the regular storage where we can all store our suitcases. I like the fact that there's lots of kitchen and bathroom space, the granite's beautiful, the showers are gorgeous, everything turned out just the way I thought it would. There are some touch-ups but my family's been in the building business forever so I understand that. I feel really safe here, especially since the only way you can get in here is with a key.
Management has been gracious and they've been informative. They were wonderful when they showed me the units and it turned out just the way I wanted it to. I'm very happy here. When I did when I moved in, they checked on me and they bought me a welcoming gift. I'm very happy here. The transportation is wonderful. They can take you any place you want to go. The vehicles are nice and clean, they're friendly, very accommodating. It's very clean, carpets are vacuumed, freshly painted, beautiful entrance, it's a wonderful first impression. The activities are wonderful. We get a schedule every single day with a menu on the back of what's going to happen this day. Considering the place I lived at before, I ate there maybe once a month, the food was awful. This place has been perfect I don't have any complaints yet. Very respectful, very accommodating.
