Morningside House of Friendship

Based on what my mother is getting for the price, the value of the community is satisfactory. The care is great and the staff seems to be very outgoing, taking excellent care of the residents and going above & beyond. Everything in the building is nice, well clean and organized, which gives it more of a homey feel. From looking at the activity calendar, I saw eating outings and different things offered. She tells me she enjoys the food and they have nice selections. The management is exceptional and they're doing a great job, especially considering the madness happening in the world with the Coronavirus. All in all, we're very happy with where she is and how things are coming along.

They have been excellent with the quarantine. I am a retired nurse and with the temperature checks, eating in their rooms and really enforcing the social distancing, I thought it was well done. They are busy with activities all the time. They do some interesting things. The housekeeping and maintenance departments are always attentive when we ask for something and we really like the transportation. Overall, it's very nice and I'd recommend it!

I am satisfied with the services and accommodations my mother receives at this community. She feels safe, comfortable and I love the care that my mother gets. The apartment is always cleaned and they let me know when she needs supplies. For activities, I've seen them have music they play regularly and they paint their nails. The quality of food, menu variety and wait service is satisfactory. Clothes always seem clean and she is always dressed. In general, I feel very good about her being there. With the way the management run things, from staff to food, I am happy with them. It's very family-oriented and everybody knows everyone, which is definitely a plus.

Seeing everything they have, all the help, it's definitely worth what he's paying. They give him his medicine, they fix his meals, they have activities, they take him to dialysis, they check on him every 2 hrs, and they have physical therapy and occupational therapy. They're very helpful with any questions you may have about how things are run, like the billing, and with any questions or concerns regarding the patients. They're very patient with those that ask questions over and over to help the patient understand as many times as necessary.

The community has been a really nice place that has been great for my mother. The healthcare staff is pretty good, communicate with me and keep an eye on her. The building is well maintained and I am satisfied with the apartment maintenance. The Activity Director is really great, friendly with my mom and gets her to do the activities as well as always coming up with new stuff. The housekeeping is pretty good and the quality of food is satisfactory. The management staff is respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive. All in all, she feels safe and comfortable living there.

The staff at the community goes above and beyond for my mother. I love the staff on her floor. Whenever I have had a complaint the community has always handled it well.

It is a beautiful building. The management has made it an easy process for us. There is a lot of diversity with the menu and Heidi in activities runs a great program. I'm pleased with everyone and they are all so personable!

I think some of the nurses are really great. From what I've seen, the night nurses seem to be really on top of things with my father. They seem to really care about him and put up with him. They seem to be very good. Things always seem to be working, so there's not a problem with maintenance. The overall condition of the building is good. The place is always clean. My father enjoys the activities when they throw the ball to each other and they answer game questions and so forth. The one nurse is pretty phenomenal about doing things with the residents. The place is nice and clean and the staff is good.

The services here are good. The dining service is outstanding and the cooks try to satisfy everybody here. The activities are outstanding as well and they have something going on every day. Housekeeping does a good job cleaning the hallways, rooms and beds. They pick up the laundry and have it cleaned, washed, dried and folded and then they deliver it the next day. The transportation is excellent and the driver is outstanding. She will find some way to fit you into the schedule. I hope people will see this as a positive living condition by my answers.

The whole place is run very efficiently. Any time my father in law needs to go anywhere and we can't take him, they do. The healthcare staff do a great job and they take good care of him. I am satisfied with the building maintenance and the apartment cleaning. The residents are happy with the activities offered. My husband has been there to dine and he likes the food. Overall, he feels safe and comfortable and he gets a lot of care for the money. We're just so grateful that the staff is really good to my father in law, and we appreciate it.
