Morningside House of Friendship

I love the community. Melissa is an excellent receptionist because she pays attention and is always very pleasant. The nurses go out of their way to take care of things and to be prompt. The nurses help me make decisions in a very caring and loving way. Everyone is very kind and considerate. If there is a problem with maintenance, it is taken care of. The building is beautiful. There is a wide variety of activities, such as bus trips, bingo, or wheelchair volleyball. The staff try to get everyone to participate. The dining servers are very kind and considerate. If there is a problem, Lisa will help solve anything. Lisa is out and isn't stuck in an office the whole time.

I know my mom is well taken care of. I can go home at night and sleep and not worry. These ladies and gentleman have all been wonderful. I know somebody will be on the phone with me immediately. She has a thing that monitors if she is moving too much at night, and they are right there. Mom seems to like the food. She eats just about everything. I have eaten there several times, and the food is very good. There are always activities posted for the weekends. There are groups that come in, and there are religious services. Mom likes the musical kind of things. I think the activities are wonderful. The transportation services have been wonderful. They have gotten her everywhere she has needed to go. I have never had problems with anyone at Morning side in terms of getting things fixed. Everything is in good repair. The laundry is wonderful. The management has been very responsive to any issues we've had. They were very helpful when we needed to move my mom to a different level of care. They told me it was no provlem and got it all moved and taken care of over a weekend. For what we are getting, we are content.

Management were very informative, there was no issues reaching them and getting answers to my questions. It seems like they definitely have a good offering of activities. His apartment seems to be very clean. They have been doing his laundry and we haven't run into any issues. The building looks nice. They seem to take care of the facility. The care staff team has been very helpful with my fathers needs. I have interacted with a lot of them. I spend a lot of time there. They seem very kind and happy to assist. In the next one to six months, I plan to have my mother move in as well.

I think they are doing a good job. She likes her apartment, her neighbors, and everything. She is participating in the activities. She likes everything that is going on. She has signed up on three trips. She has gone on one and enjoyed that. She hasn't had any problem with the housekeeping or laundry. Everything is good and smells good in the building. She is really pleased with the care she gets. She likes that they come to check on her. They are very pleasant. Everyone is nice, pleasant, cordial, and friendly. She is totally enjoying it.

From what I have seen, if anybody asks, this seems like to place to be. I am really satisfied. Everybody has been nice and loving. They have open arms. They go around and just give hugs. It is just great. My mom's AC unit wasn't working, and the maintenance man came right in and fixed it when I asked. The building looks good. Everything is always neat and clean. My mom seems to enjoy the things that she gets to do. She enjoys the music. Just in general, everybody has been welcoming and nice and taking care of our needs. The management is accessible and responsive.

I have no bad things to say. Everything is great. The care staff come by every two hours to make sure he's okay. They come in and see if there's anything that he needs. They're right there to assist him if he needs it. I can't say enough about the nurses. They are my heart. Everything is well kept. Everything looks great. The housekeepers to a good job. That is great. There is so much stuff to do. The activities are so varied. I'm sure they're hitting what everybody likes. He said the food was good. He really likse the meals. If he doesn't like what they're serving, they have an alternate menu that he can order from. Amanda was great to get him settled in there. She was really great with working with me. She helped me out a lot. For all the care that he's getting and the fact that they're getting his food and his medicine, the price is right. I have no problems. I'm just so overjoyed with Morningside. It is just great. I can't say enough.

The management has gotten back to us in a reasonable amount of time on a few different things that have popped up, and they took care of things immediately. The servers in the dining area are very cooperative and understanding. Every time I have visited, my mom has been very active, and she has started socializing more, which is a good thing. They keep the building clean. My mom used the transportation last week for the first time, and everything went well. They took her to her two appointments that she had. The care givers have been very helpful, and if there are any concerns, they would contact us. Everything is running pretty smoothly, and that is what we had hoped for.

Overall, I am satisfied with Morningside. I think my father is in a good place. I think they take good care of him. As far as medical care, I think they are right on top of his needs. When I'm there, the activities seem entertaining. Overall, the dining is pretty good. I don't have any issues. It seems like management does a very good job. If I have any questions, they answer them. For what it is costing, I think they do a good job.

I think the value is really good. I have not had any issues at all with the management. Since he has been there the meal selections have been really good. It seems like the amount of activities and the variety of activities are really good. I would absolutely recommend it. The care staff is extremely good and are always aware of what is going on.

My father got good care for the amount of money. I feel that the management went above and beyond. My father really enjoyed the food. The care givers were on top of it. If they saw something that was concerning, they brought it to our attention immediately. If I sent an email, I would get a reponse back immediately. My sister is the one that takes care of all his medical needs, and anytime she had a question for anyone, there they were always willing to answer. I would definitely recommend it. Going through this, you don't know what to expect. They were not only wonderful to my father, but they were wonderful to the family. They walked us through it and told us that we should trust them. For a stressful experiene, they made it easier on the family.
