Morningside House of Friendship

My father in law likes to eat the food, and my sister in law says the food is good. The dining service is wonderful. The staff keep the residents busy with activities. The housekeepers are very thorough with the laundry. He always gets his clothing back. They are doing good cleaning. This is a very nice building. If you didn't know this was an assisted living, you would think you were in a Hilton hotel. He loves his apartment. He has the privacy of having his own apartment, but is getting the care he needs. We are very pleased that we don't have to constantly check on him. We trust that they are caring for him. You get what you pay for here.

Management has been very helpful and the healthcare staff does a very good job. Whenever I've asked them questions, they provide me with the information I need. Everything looks kept up very well to me, the inside and outside looks nice.

The care she gets is going well and the activites they offer seem to be entertaining. They take good care of her laundry and the building seems to be maintained well.

Anytime I have a question there is always someone there to answer it for me. The lady that comes in to clean is really nice and does a good job. The building is really pretty, it is very clean and doesn't have that smell.

I have never had an issue with management, they have been great in getting me what I needed. They have a lot of activities in the community. They have recently done some renovations in the past year or so and do a good job of keeping the community up.

The staff treats them as people not as clients and they honor their commitments. I want people to know the wonderful care that my mother is getting. This whole entire experience with my mother being in assisted living has been an extrordinary experience for her. She is not lonely and the activities keep her busy. I am amazed at my mom's personal growth at this stage in her life.

My mother likes the food and the people she's seated with. She really likes John, he helps prepare the food and is very accessible to the people and anything they ask about. The healthcare is very good. They're always accessible, if I have any questions, they answer them. Heidi, who came just in the last year to do the activities, is just wonderful. Kaitlyn the bus driver is so friendly and kind, she's very personable.

The managers listen, respond, and care about my mother-in-law. They've got a lot of staff and they're very responsive. I see everything is clean and any time there is a maintenance problem they get right on it.

The care and management staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they seem to really care about all of the residents. Also, the building is well-kept, so much so that it looks like a hotel. We are very happy with our decision to move my sister into this community.

We're very happy so far. We chose this community for mom primarily because of the location, the services provided, and the pricing. The food has been good, she seems to be eating well. I think the activities are good for Memory Care. There's bingo, dances, outside activities, games, and movies.
