Morningside House of Friendship

We choose the community due to a lot of factors, such as cost, reputation, and cleanliness. The management team has been very responsive and kept me informed, and they run the community very well. The food is excellent, she eats well. The activities look great. My wife's studio apartment is always clean. The apartment was clean and working when we moved in and maintenance provided my son with a dolly to help move her in. They keep the community clean. Overall, the care is good. You get what you pay for and I am pleased with the value.

Every time we go there to visit mom, everything seems great. When I need to speak to management, they respond. The activities are consistently good and her room always looks clean. The care givers contact me whenever they need something and they address problems. The value is great, she is being taken care of.

Management was very honest with us and they are problem solvers, they are willing to problem solve with us as we move along the journey together. They took my mom's special circumstances and turned around and trained their staff to understand her. The Memory Care Manager, Adrien, is wonderful. The room was beautiful when we moved in. The people there are phenomenal, working really hard to help with individual needs. We're very pleased and thankful to have a place for our mom.

Compared with other communities around, I think we're getting the best value for our money. The rooms are nice, there are no odors and my mother feels comfortable there. There is always something going on, they keep people engaged, which is something that really caught our eye. She gets a well balanced meal each day, so we are happy with everything.

They seem to have good activities. The care givers are awesome and we appreciate all that they do for my mom. I wouldn't have kept my mom there if it wasn't a good place for her.

Whether it's property management or just different departments, it seems like Morningside House of Friendship is a well oiled machine. My mother went to a couple of places before she went to Morningside, but it's been a while since she has done that, so her longevity is a testament for our assessment of Morningside's services. I would certainly encourage anyone who has a loved one with Dementia to inquire about Morningside because there is quality care being given to my mother.

I do know she is safe and when we pull up there with her she says she is home. The care mom is getting takes a load off my mind. I have to work and I can't be there all the time. I have seen the menus and talked with mom about what she is eating. She loves what she is getting to eat. There is plenty of variety and there are things she will take part in. The maintenance staff have been really helpful. The care staff have been wonderful. If anything happens during the week when I am not there they are very quick to call me.

I am 100% satisfied with the value at Morningside. The staff is amazing. The transportation is excellent, it's flexible and there has never been a time they couldn't fit her into the schedule. She participates in everything that she can; I can't keep up with her anymore.

It's a lot better than the other nursing homes I've seen around here, it feels a little bit more like home. They gather the folks around for birthdays so it seems like they try to keep them upbeat in the dining room area.

We chose this community for our mom because we were really impressed with the community on our initial walkthrough. The maintenance was one of the things that impressed us; the place is beautiful. We were so impressed with the curb appeal. The management has been awesome. They really make it easy and were available to me at every turn. There was nothing that I asked for that they weren't able to handle. I have been very pleased with the dining department so far and the calendar of activities they put out looks amazing.
