Morningside House of Friendship

When she was first looking to go into Assisted Living, we checked out three different places. This community seemed to be the best value for the money. She gets very good care and is happy here so that makes the price worth it. Management is always accessible if I need to talk to them and they are always personable and helpful. The nurses have all been great.

The layout of my daughter's living space is lovely. I have always been impressed by management. I feel they have a good variety of meals offered. They have meetings with the chef and they let them make observations of what could be done. I think they do an excellent job with activities. I think they have so many good ideas. I think they keep them active. I am satisfied very much with laundry and housekeeping is good. The transportation has been a blessing. They take her to all of her appointments. I think for the facility they are, they do good for what they are allowed to do.

Mom is healthy and appears well fed from dining. I love the way they do it. I love how the staff handles them all. They have things going on all the time. They have games and things going on the TV. When she was able to do it she loved it. I am satisfied with the service she gets from housekeeping and laundry. The maintenance man is a super guy and very agreeable and will do anything you ask but it may not be the day you ask. He is just one guy. I love him and he works really hard. I love all the care staff. The following people have been wonderful, Marcia, Kesha, Lorissa, Beverly at the front door, those are the ones that every time I go there they will do anything. They can get my mom to laugh which is good because I can't. They have a special group of people. They are wonderful.

The management has been a great deal of help to me over the years that I have been here. The food here is very good and the service is very good. It is a pretty good variety. We have quite a bit of activities. They are enjoyable and we go on trips once a week. We play a lot of games and a lot of people participate. The room service is pretty good. The transportation is reliable and there are never any problems.

The healthcare services are fantastic because the staff is super friendly and particularly the ones on his floor are very knowledgeable about him. In general, they're extremely caring with the residents, but they're also patient and super, super helpful with providing us with any information we need to know. The housekeeping staff come regularly and they do a thorough job. Tthere is good amount and variety of activities available for the residents, with month-to-month things changing.

We had a party there for my father and the people who came were impressed.

Latoya, from management, was very helpful and knowledgeable, she is one of the biggest reasons we went back and the cleanliness and niceness of the people. She followed up with me and did an excellent job. My mother-in-law says the food is good and there is a good variety of activities. I'm very happy with the housekeeping services, nurses aides, and med techs, and every time I've asked for anything maintenance has come right away.

Mom moved in a while ago, almost a year, and she is comfortable and safe. Housekeeping and laundry are very good; excellent. Overall the maintenance of the building is good. I would say the care givers are fantastic. I think the value is very good, it's excellent.

When I have questions they're answered. There is a new director and I think they're rebuilding the activities but they seem really good. I like the activity choices that are offered. If you go into the building any time of day, you don't have any bad smells so in that type of environment that is really awesome. Everything appears to be clean and housekeeping seems to be on top of things. I also like the care and attention the laundry is getting. Everything is hung, folded and put away. It's wonderful having the option to take my mom to doctor's appointments and she likes the bus tours that they go on and the trips.

I have been very satisfied with my mother living at Morningside House of Friendship because of the services and accommodations that are provided to her. When I have issues, management tends to them right away, so they're reliable and the front desk is very helpful. Regarding her care, I think the main staff there is pretty good at what they do because they're enjoying it and are putting their heart into it. They tell me things I need to know, so in general it's a nice place. Every time I am there, the people are always entertaining and they're 1 on 1 with the residents or they have everyone laughing along, so the activities are fun. I see residents enjoying their time, so it's a great activity program and they're constantly looking to do more. Also, I am satisfied with the housekeeping services provided and I feel comfortable with the food at the community. She is happy with it as well and I had Thanksgiving dinner with her there where I had reserved a private dinner, which was pretty good. Overall, I am very pleased with the care that she gets there, so overall I am happy and fortunate that I was able to get her in there because I can't imagine a place where she'd be happier.
