Morningside House of Friendship

The building has just undergone a renovation and things look a lot fresher here. They have been painting and everything looks on the up and up. I think the housekeeping department does a good job, we have never had an issue with them taking care of my moms items.

Morningside have very good food and is very clean. Looks like there's a variety, and the wait staff are very attentive to the residents. They have quite a bit of activities. They go out to lunch, they have music that comes in, and they have cookies. They had a photo booth machine the other day. A couple of times maintenance has addressed a situation. Everything looks very clean in his room. My dad uses the transportation there sometimes, it's very good. They just got a new van. The value is great. Morningside has a lot to offer with catering to my dad.

The activites department always has something for my loved one to participate in. The housekeeping department cleans the apartment seems like daily. The place is very well kept. The staff are all very nice, knowledgable and attentive to the residents. The building has just been updated and it looks really great.

This community was chosen for my father because of the proximity to our house and the price. Everything has been pretty good here. The food seems to be of high quality and the servers are nice. The residents get anything that they ask for and if they want more to eat they just have to ask. The housekeeping has been perfect. Anytime I set his laundry out it comes back clean. Everything in the building seems great and up to par. The caregivers have been great. They call us regularly and call us anytime they have a question. We are definitely getting our money's worth.

I think mom is getting the care that she needs here. I like her apartments, it is small but it is all the room she needs because she is always out talking to people. The managment staff is so helpful, even to this day I can still email them and get a response right back. When I visit mom, the building always looks and smells good.

It was quaint, a smaller facility, I liked the size of the rooms, my mom has a roommate but that's why I liked the size of the room. It's very clean and very welcoming. The management staff has been very very accommodating and I love the food because of the large variety they offer. The community is beautiful, I like taking my mom out back to sit by the flowers and talk, it's very nice.

They accept Medicaid which is great. The management team does a good job and I think activities there are excellent. They have a variety of activities and mom is always getting involved, so I'm really pleased with that. The building is gorgeous. They just redid it and it's beautiful. I can’t say anything bad about it.

I have recommended Morningside for a couple reasons, one being the management leadership that exists, two is the nursing leadership that exists and three being that I have never ever once had an instance to believe that my mom was mistreated with bed sores or soiled garments, so the medical staff really do what they're supposed to do. Keisha is the Head Nurse and she is probably the absolute best person you can have in that position. There is nothing disengenious about her and she really truly cares about the residents. Overall, it's been a good choice for us because we highly respect Carlotte, Keisha, Lisa and Molly.

When we were looking, Morningside seemed to be the best value for the price at the time. I think management has done a great job. I know te caretakers are there and are very attentive for the most part and respond timely. I've never met anyone who wasn't respectful. I think they have cool stuff for the residents to do and it looks like they're going places that are enjoyable for the outings. I have enjoyed some of them, they just did a little cruise. I'd say things are good for the most part.

I definitely feel that my mother is safe, and that's one of the reasons why I love the place. The management satff is doing everything well. The activities are great and the Activities Director does a great job of keeping track of the resident's likes and dislikes. I think the food is pretty good. It seems like they have a good menu and variety. I'm happy with it. The caretakers are very helpful and accommodating, and I don't have any complaints about them. I've had issues with my mom falling out of bed, so I know they're very attentive. They're great with communication. Overall, I am very satisfied. It's not too big, and it's very homey feeling there.
