Morningside House of Leesburg

If I have a concern I go to the managment and they address it. I think Susan has been very helpful and nice. Danielle is always very helpful. They are very good. They keep them engaged. They paint and they play bingo and they have music. They have exercises that they do. They provide them with enough options.

The care staff does a great job.

Management has done everything I've asked for my mom. The care is excellent, they have great nurses. My mom likes the food and the service is pretty good. Maintenance is very good and the houskeeping and laundry services are excellent as well.

Mom moved inn because it had an opening and it is closest to the neighborhood she used to live in. The care staff have all been very helpful. I haven’t had any issues. They get back to me. She just started physical therapy and that's good. We’re satisfied with maintenance and housekeeping, and the dining room servers are all very nice. The managers are responsive, everybody emails me back. Mom has only been there two weeks, but she is safe, and so far the value is probably fair.

Management seems to be efficient and they're doing a good job. Generally I think my sister is pleased with the food because if there is something she doesn't care for they have an alternative for her. The building seems satisfactory and it seems like they clean it very well. In terms of care, the healthcare is very favorable. They make sure my sister takes her meds, the care staff seems efficient. As a performer, I have visited about 5 different facilities in this area and my observations of the building, staffing, esthetics and grounds; I think Morningside is well above average for the price.

Everyone is well organized and information is conveyed as we need it. They seem to have my grandmother's best interest at heart even though she is at a stage with her illnesses that it is difficult to take care of her. My grandmother's room is clean and she has clean clothes. The community is clean and I have never seen anything broken. My grandmother gets her medicine and the care givers make sure she is well care for. They always answer the phone or at least return my calls. Other than a small concern about the TV package, I wouldn't change a thing.

There is a new manager there and she seems to be doing a good job. Susan, in management, has been very responsive and has done a very good job. The food is good and my mom really enjoys it. They seem to have a very good variety of activities and the person who runs them seems very enthusiastic. Housekeeping comes once a week and they do a good job with the laundry. Transportation did a wonderful job when she needed to use them. They made sure she was where she needed to be. They walked her into the building and made sure she was where she was supposed to be. They have a new vehicle so I assume it is good. The caregivers are very responsive, efficient and caring.

My mother was at Morningside House of Leesburg for only 30 days, but the price for the services received was absolutely fair. Both the management and healthcare staff are respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive. She seemed to like the food and the dining service was satisfactory, as was the variety in menu. Activities were entertaining, well planned and consistently offered. I was satisfied with the apartment cleaning, laundry and just consistency of service with regards to the housekeeping that was provided. The building maintenance was satisfactory and she felt safe at the community, so the stay was comfortable for her. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience for my mother.

My mom likes the activities. She does like the bus rides, the chance to get out, and also uses the bus there to get to doctor’s appointments. Management does a pretty good job, and housekeeping is consistent. In general when we seek out the nurses they are good and responsive, so we're overall happy. I am satisfied with the value. Mom definitely feels safe and I would say comfortable too. We're happy overall.

There seems to be plenty of activities every day. She loves this. She thinks the driver is great and she loves to go on outings. They have hired a new activities director named Ebony who seems to be doing every thing she can to find new and interesting things that will delight the residents. She is starting some new things like visiting the senior center, having singalongs, playing Family Feud, doing other things that will make people's day.
