Morningside House of Leesburg

I've spoken to Amy, the new director, a couple of times, she seems very nice. The caregivers have done a good job, help me out, take care of my dad, and let me know when something is amiss. I like them a lot, he likes them a lot. He always eats the lunch. I see him at lunch. His partner usually eats a grilled cheese. The waitresses and waiters are friendly enough and do their job.

I really liked it from other places I looked at, they had a reasonable price and the activities seemed to be more robust than anywhere else I looked. When I was looking, the financial aspect was a really big deal for me. Not only could I get a room at the lowest cost I could find but I almost got more activities than any other place offered, so I definitely think the value is there. I think the dining is pretty good; the food seems to be fairly decent. It was nice that they had oysters for Thanksgiving because somebody likes oysters. There was a lot of music and my mother loves music, there were bingo and field trips. Housekeeping came in every Monday and cleaned her room and washed her clothes and hung them back up. The healthcare services seem well staffed; they're very friendly and respectful.

I say the value here is excellent for my mom. The food has good variety. It seems like they have good protein sources and overall it is very good. There are a good variety of options to chose from in activities. The housekeeping is perfect. I have no problems. I would say the maintenance is very good. And, I would say from her perspective the care is good as well.

We're very happy in this community and I believe Morningside has given us the best value and has made us feel like family and not an obligation to the resident. Management has really gone out of their way to make my mom feel comfortable. Maintenance is always doing a good job and they keep the building clean and tidy. The girls in the care center are very protective of mom and are constantly checking in on her and whom ever is with her during the day to make sure they really understands my mom's needs. The care staff has really advocated for my mom when I couldn't be there. It's been a great place.

My mom is living at Morningside House of Lessburg and we are satisfied with the price, services and accommodations provided to us at the community. Management addresses issues right away, my mom eats the food and loves breakfast, they always have something going on activity wise and I applaud their housekeeping department because they do not mix my mom's clothes up. In terms of her care, the aides are really nice and they'll ask me questions or they'll know right away so overall we are pleased with our experience.

As far as I'm concerned, in terms of the quality of care she is receiving, it is expensive but I think it is well worth it. It is money well spent. I would say we are very satisfied with front desk. They are incredible, helpful, friendly, and warm. They keep track of people, and they always call you back when you leave a message. The food in the dining room is very good. My brother and I have joined mom there for several meals and feel they have a good variety offered. The activities are great. They are varied throughout the property for people in join in either large or small groups. The care team have some really good nurses. They are great with my mom and go the extra mile.

In terms of looking at comparative communities in the area, the value is very good. The management has been very easy to work wtih in terms of getting my mother established. They have all been accessible and responsive. I have been really impressed with some of the meals. The activities, housekeeping and maintenance have been very good. Housekeeping is very responsive and they work well with my mother. Maintenance seems to do a good job renovating the building and keeping everything looking fresh and modern. The transportation has been excellent. The vehicles are well maintained, the driver is courteous, they are great at assisting her to and from the vehicle and the driver is very good at waiting at her appointments. The caregivers are responsive and flexible. They are good at aligning my mother with the best medical professionals she needs.

My brother has been there since July, 2017. The Management is accommodating, the dining servers are pleasant, and the Med Techs are diligent. If you have a problem Management listens and tries to fix whatever is wrong. My brother seems happy with the food, and I see the menu when I'm there and they seem to have a nice selection. Housekeeping's fine. They do the laundry once a week and they do his bedding when it's needed. All in all I think it's a fair price.

I have recommended the community to friends. I think it's a lovely community and a great option for assisted living. Most of the people I encounter there enjoy being there. I think it's nice.Everyone is nice and friendly and know my mom and take care of her. I know they like her. It looks beautiful, they're doing a lot of work on it so it looks great. They seem to be taking good care of everything. I never find it to be dirty or unkept. It's very clean and well maintained. I feel like the staff are really easy to work with.

The nursing staff is good, they do a good job. They're very good at what they do. The maintenance department has done a really nice job; the inside looks good so I'd say it's very well done. The management staff is always very courteous and helpful. Anytime you ask them anything, they answer any questions. She tells me how nice they are. It’s equal to what everybody else is charging and it's a nice environment because there are only 70 people instead of a huge place that she gets lost in the shuffle. I think it's very good.
