Morningside House of Satyr Hill

My parents like the food and activities. My mom said housekeeping does the laundry in the morning and brings it back that night folded and then they put it away for them. The building is always clean and neat. Everytime my mom needs help she calls the caregivers and they help her. My parents are comfortable and like it here.

They had good size portions at meals and it was something that he enjoyed eating. The care was excellent. Tracy, one of the head nurses, was wonderful. She would call me on the phone and kept me updated with any changes or how his behavior was. I can't thank them ever for the care they gave him.

I looked at some that were much more expensive and what I liked about this community was they got people up and downstairs doing something. There are all kinds of activities, I liked the camaraderie factor. Some of the other Assisted Living places didn't quite do that, they didn't have any sociability and this is very social. The staff who have been there quite a while all seem to love their job, all of them have a good sense of humor.

I think management runs the place very well. I think the food is pretty good, they have all different kinds of activities to do, housekeeping is doing a good job and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. The care is top notch. It is definitely a fair price for what she gets.

The grounds, interior and hallways always look beautiful, and management keeps in contact with us even if it's just a small simple thing. Overall, everyone is very attentive to my sister and we're very comfortable with her being there without worrying about anything. The people that work there are very kind, caring and I feel like they go above & beyond to just their normal work duties, so everyone there is just really awesome and we're really happy.

Management seems to be good. They're good at responding with information and making themselves available. The healthcare staff are pretty good as well. I've gotten calls getting feedback on how he's doing and how his meds are working which is pretty important to me. There seems to be good activity options for the residents to choose from. Housekeeping does a pretty good job. I always look at floors, handles and things and they're always clean. I've noticed that the surfaces in the dining area and the common areas are always clean and that's really important.

She loves the dining room and the food. Overall I think it's a very nice place, she's adapted well to it and made friends immediately.

It's a very clean place, has updated finishes that don't make it look old and tired like some other facilities. The staff there is incredibly warm and inviting, that really makes a difference. The staff is very calm, quiet and patient when interacting with the residents. It's a quality organization and Jackie has been knowledgeable, understanding, and very communicative.

My mother lives at Morningside House of Satyr Hill and I think the value is both, very good and very reasonable. In terms of housekeeping services, her room is excellent. There are no issues and every Tuesday her bedsheets, toilet and bathroom is kept cleaned. With activities, they usually have something going on every hour or every 2 hours and I know the old guys love the live music, sing a longs and things like that. As for the dining experience, service is excellent and the residents usually get 2 choices. I tell all of my friends because both, my husband and I are extremely satisfied.

We are eternally grateful for a place like this. It's well maintained, everyone is friendly and nice, and the staff is always pleasant. Every time I've been there, everything has been immaculate and the outside appearance is excellent.
