Morningside House of St. Charles

Management is the best and I can talk to them anytime I want. They are very respectful. The food is great here and it is different every day. The servers bring us our food on time three times a day and they bring us a snack. Housekeeping clean my room regularly and they pick up my laundry once a week and they bring the proper clothes back nicely folded. The building is great and everything looks pristine here. If something happens, maintenance gets to it the next day. The transportation was perfect and the caregivers do a great job."

My mom is happy, always occupied, has events to go to and she enjoys the food and people. It means a lot that there is someone working there who is bilingual and I have never felt she was treated different because of her ethnicity and that is important to me it's someone there she can talk to.

As I walk around the community, everything looks in good repair. I haven't gone in and ever noticed anything dirty. In terms of activities, I would say they are appropriate for the residents. I am more secure and confident about where my mother is now.

My mom likes the food and says the dining servers are fine. Housekeeping is good, her apartment is very nice and the inside of the building and the grounds are nice. The staff are very good and get her to and from her appointments. The nurses are great and call me when they need my assistance. Everything is going pretty well.

The care staff is very responsive. I haven't heard any complaints about the maintenance. The building has been renovated recently, and they seem to do a good job of keeping it up and keeping it clean. Anytime we've had a question or didn't understand something, the management team has been very responsive in explaining it and worked with us whenever we didn't understand. They've always been very receptive. I would definitely recommend them.

My mom is grea,t and she is happy. She really enjoys most everything there. From everything I have seen, it looks like the activities are really good. In regards to the building maintenance, everything seems to be clean and everything seems to be and looks to be in good condition. The care givers are very patient and they are very loving. They seem to be right on task with everything that needs to be done. Mom just loves the folks that handle the nursing. The dining service is really good. My mom has never complained about that. SHe says that everyone is great there.

They were very accommodating. They didn't let people just sit in their rooms, especially ones that had challenges about getting out. I had a good feeling about the place. Everytime I saw the food, it was decent. He ate it, so it must be good. I think they were really creative with activities. They got him to play bingo, watch TV, and be with other people. They were appropriate. They had music, and he loves music. I didn't see very many cancellations. It was directed to the people who was there. Everytime I dropped in, the place looked clean. There were never any smells. The aides were great, and the nurses were helpful and accommodating. The place is well maintained. Christa was responsive and answered the questions. I appreciate the enthusiasm with which Christa does her work.

I think the value is good for the service they get. We don't have any complaints about the place. My father is very happy there. The service is excellent and the food is good. They keep everything clean and in order. The care staff are on top of everything. They are very good. They inform us about anything that is going on. We can show up at any time and everything is in good condition.

Dad moved in six years ago, and I think the care is good. They know my dad. Housekeeping does a good job, and maintenance is fine. The staff in the dining room go out of their way to give him variety. The services are good. He's comfortable there, and it's the right size. They do all they can to keep him safe. I think they do a good job. They're very attentive to my dad, and I am gratified.

We have recommended the facility and we will in the future too. We looked at extensively at other facilities in the area and we didn't see anything that we liked better. We tell people that we are happy there and we are satisfied. The management has been responsive and they get back to us when we have had an issue or problem.
