North Shore Place

We have a new Executive Direcotr here and she seems really nice. The housekeeping and maintenance service is good. I am satisfied with the care that my mom receives here as well.

I don't know the prices that other people are paying and typical pricing, it is expensive, it's a lovely facility, the food is very good. I think it's well done. My mother enjoys the food and they have special subjects every once in a while, art and music so I think there are a wide variety of activities, they have outings. The maintenance is fine, they respond to work orders we put in. The healthcare staff is excellent, my mother is very happy with them.

I am very comfortable here. I moved in with my furniture and it is lovely. The satff does the laundry once a week and they do a beautiful job. In regards to the transportation, I use it occassionally and I have no problem with it. The driver is wonderful. Management is fine as far as I can tell.

Justine runs the memory care and she is wonderful. The food is pretty good and the staff is accommodating. They do a good job of providing appropriate events for the residents. Adrienne, in the nursing staff, keeps me informed and is very attentive to my mom. The staff that care for my mom are just wonderful and I couldn't be happier with them.

The management is pretty good. They are responsive to any issues we have. I enjoy the food and my mom enjoys the food. The servers are attentive to her and know her name. My mom enjoys the menu variety. My mom loves the activities. She does pretty much everything in there except for cards and working out. The activities have definitely brought her back to her senses and give her a sense of accomplishment. The maintenance staff is great with my mom and they have always been attentive. The care is pretty awesome. The nurses do a great job. She loves the aides and nurses and they do a good job with her.

My loved one enjoys the food at this community and the housekeeping is great. Anytime she has an issue, maintenance comes up. My loved one gets wonderful care here. She is well taken care of. We have good interactions with the staff that care for her and cannot speak higher of them. The team on her floor is just great and they are great to interact with.

My aunt has been there for three years, and I think the food is fine and the wait staff seems to be attentive. It looks like there are a lot of good activities. I think them building is very nice and well-kept by maintenance, and we’re satisfied with housekeeping. My aunt’s medicine is dispensed through North Shore and it seems to be fine. We're very satisfied with the value. I've been in a couple other places and in comparison, to me, she is in a good place.

The management does a nice job. I think the activities that are offered have improved. I think the overall building is very nice and they do a very good job keeping it up. It feels fresh, clean and well taken care of when I go to visit my dad. I think the nursing department does an excellent job. They are very sensitive to the individual’s needs and desires and maintain dignity. They do a really nice job.

My mother is at Northshore Place because it's close to me and I was willing to pay whatever, but I definitely do not feel like I am losing value for my money. In fact, the food is excellent, the care is attentive and her room is lovely, so I feel like I am getting a good value. The management team I am currently working with is more on her floor and they have been both, great and proactive, so I really appreciate that. My mom loves the food, so the dining experience has been great. She unfortunately is at the stage that she prefers to eat the same thing, but they do seem to have plenty of options and I am satisfied with the quality of service there from the wait staff. The grounds are phenomenal and the entire community is all very well done. When she moved rooms, the maintenance crew slowly moved her over and helped me store her things during the transition, so they have been excellent. On her particular floor, I see Nurses all the time and they seem to be very attentive and very good. She has been the hospital a few times, but they're focused on how she is doing, so it's been very good overall.

North Shore Place has been a good value for my sister-in-law and I think her apartment space is very good; she feels safe and comfortable at the community. I have interacted with management very well and they have been very responsive. She looks healthy and basically enjoys the food during the dining experience. There is some diversity in menu variety and the service is polite, addressing her by her name. She enjoys the activities and the staff there supports her needs because the art studio stuff is absolutely central for her, so I think that the people working in the activities are really good. The housekeeping is fine, the building is very well maintained and the maintenance department seems to be that if there are issues, they respond. With regards to her care, the staff is respectful, knowledgeable, accessible and responsive to her needs. Overall, we have been very pleased the community and I think that my sister-in-law is doing very well there.
