North Shore Place

This is a place that I think a lot of people would enjoy being at. My mom enjoys the food and she likes the variety and it is well suited for her. My mom looks at the activities every day and then chooses what she wants to do. She is never bored. There is plenty for her to do. Her apartment is spotless. It has been really good. There are a number of great people who care for her and anticipate her needs. She feels super safe and comfortable. It is not cheap but they give her a lot of care. We are very happy that she is there.

It's a newer facility and I think it's clean. I'm satisfied; it's a good place for her to live. I think there are good activities and there haven't been any complaints in regards to the housekeeping or maintenance. I'm satisfied.

Management was very nice. The ladies that were serving in the dining room were very accommodating and efficient. You have to be proud of them because they did a good job and the food was pretty good. I went to a movie with my friends and the day went by very nicely. The housekeeping did a good job. The building was maintained very nicely. Everything has been very nice.

They're very personable and welcoming to my dad and I. We feel we can call the management staff anytime with questions. Everybody is very responsive to things. The caretakers come right away when he presses the button. They call me when his medications are low. They've been right on it and answer any questions we have. I've been very happy with what I've seen.

The community does take really good care of my father. It's terrific; it's always clean in the building. The maintenance is terrific. The dining service is very good; it seems fresh and its different things all the time. They have everyone in the same room so no one is excluded for activities. As long as he's safe and loved, we're very satisfied.

I think my aunt's getting a good value for the services she receives. There is something going on constantly so that's great. The workers are very responsive and keep everything clean. I get frequent calls about any issues that come up with her. Everyone seems to be very aware of her current state of mind and how things are going. I'm very satisfied.

Every time I'm there, at least once or twice a month my brother and sister go in, we always see a member of the management team readily available either in the dining room or reception desk so if anyone has any questions, there's always someone available to talk to. They're so attentive. They know her; they take good care of her and are sensitive to her individual needs and quirks. It's very, very helpful and reassuring to have a facility like North Shore Place. Everything about the physical facility is great. I think they do a wonderful job maintaining it.

I believe the price and value are good. We did look at some other places and I think the arrangement that we have is fairly priced. I think it is a good value. I think they are managing my mom very well. Overall, I am very pleased with the initial experience. She has commented that the food is pretty good. It is a nice place to sit and eat and I am not hearing any negative feedback. It seems like there is a lot of stuff for people to do. The people seem very attentive there. My mom is adjusting very well.

I think the caretakers do a great job, they really do. I do recommend it big time, all the time. My mother loves the food. I do see people flocking to everything and think they're doing a real good job with the activities. I think Steve, in management, has done a real good job of keeping things on track.

The management is attentive. These people truly care. Good hires and great top-down leadership. My dad went to the dining room the other day and the server recognized him and brought his usual out, she already knew it. Those personal touches really make a difference. Matt and Maintenance are very attentive to our needs. Things are going along real well, my mom is really happy. She loves it. It's fantastic.
