Northglenn Heights Assisted Living

We visited and everybody loved it. Management has all been very very helpful, we appreciate all that they've done and the care they're showing, they're exceeding our expectations. It seems like there's always a lot of activities to choose from, exercising and that kind of thing, it seems like there are a lot of different choices, so that's great. Housekeeping has been perfect, they seem to be one step ahead, it seems like it's always clean.

As far as I am concerned the value is pretty good. I am very happy with them. For her needs, her room is perfect. She isn't cooking for herself anymore. She takes her handy dandy walker down the hall to dining. Everybody has been impeccable. I have heard from my sister that the activities have been very good. The building looks pretty nice. It is clean. The grounds outside are clean. The nurses and aides come around and check on her and make sure she has her pills every day. Everyone treats her with a lot of respect.

My mom moved into Northglenn Heights because they were referred to us by another nursing facility that had a long waiting list. Management is actively involved with the people in the community and they really care. I think the grounds look great.

I think overall the management is very good. The general manger Michael Holbrook and Sarah are both very good. The people at the front desk are typically very good. I think the people that Mr. Holbrook has working for him are awesome. The activity structure is very nice and very appropriate. When we call the maintenance they do come and take care of stuff. The grounds and building are pretty good.

Mom has been there four years and the food has always been very good. I think the leadership itself is pretty good. The activities are varied and maintenance keeps the building in very nice shape. I think it's a pretty good value. Not all but there a few staff members who go quite a bit above and beyond, and it's much appreciated.

The caregivers try very hard. From what I've heard I think they try to take the memory care people on the other side for the activities and I'm happy with that. I have eaten there a couple of times with my mom and the food was fairly good. I do think they treat the residents pretty good and that I'm happy with.

Management answered all my questions, I'm out of state so they helped me out the best they could, and they’re very personable and easy to talk to. I really like the dining; I like it better than where she was at. The people I've met are very nice and I like the way they do their meds, they give the residents their meds at their meals and I like that, in the morning and at night, I like that a lot. I was really impressed with some of the activities, I was surprised compared with what I saw where she was before, I’m very happy with them. Maintenance repainted, they put new carpeting in, and new tile, so I was really impressed with that. She's in a large studio, we were able to fit all of her furniture in there so I was really happy, I like her arrangements better than where she was.

I am very satisfied with mom's apartment and she seems pretty happy here. Mom never complains about the food and when I am there it looks wonderful. Every time I am there her room is immaculate. That is amazing considering. Her bed is made, the clothes are off the floor, and everything is neat and tidy. They are going through a whole remodel of the building and it looks really nice. The care staff is just awesome. They are super friendly and caring. They are warm hearted. When I leave there I feel she is more than taken care of.

We are happy with the value we are receiving here for Mom. We have had good luck with management. They have been available to us, friendly and helpful. The meals are good here. The housekeeping keeps things well taken care of. The maintenance and care staff have been good to us as well.

The managment have been available and they have definitely met with us on the conerns we have had. My dad appears to like everything they serve in dining. There always appear to be good portions and the food looks good. I feel like they have good caregivers providing care.
