Northglenn Heights Assisted Living

It's been two years so far and my mother really likes the dining. It looks like they have a good schedule of activities and events every week. When she had a freezer that went out the maintenance team took care of it right away. The care staff all knows her name, which I think is awesome. I definitely would recommend it. They have a beauty salon which is nice that they have it right there.

I think the management staff is very friendly and I think the housekeepers do a good job cleaning and keeping up on things. They do a really good job on the building. The nursing staff seems to really know my mom and care about her and is happy to see her. Although we have had a few issues, I think it's been a good experience for my mom.

We definitely made a good move bringing my wife there and looking at the other facilities in the area, we felt good with Northglenn Heights. As far as I am concerned I believe she is satisfied with the management staff. The activities department seems to be in tune with the patients. We haven't had any concerns with housekeeping or maintenance. A few of the caregivers have taken to her and they do a good job. She seems to be enjoying it there.

I think that management has been helpful with anything we've needed or asked for. When I came to visit I took a look at the activities schedule and it looked pretty comparable to the place my father was last at. They are doing his laundry and everything looks clean when I visit.

I think the cost is excellent. They do everything they can do to get them in vans, get around. It was a good room; my mother had a good place. Whenever I called, the management staff answered. They would call back if I left a message. They had lots of activities going on. She could always go to the craft room. Lots of trips, I think they left the facility about three times a week. The maintenance team was always helpful. They just went through a big renovation. The healthcare staff was always good, very good. They would call me after every situation; if she had a cut they were treating it. The level of care was exceptional.

Their pricing is really good. We just went through fighting with the county to keep her benefits, so I've been working with that management a lot over there. They were great. They helped us. The dining and activities have done a great job. I think the housekeeping and maintenance have done well too. I haven't had any complaints.

It's been about a year since I moved my mom into the community. My mother likes the caregivers. They're attentive and take care of her. They just did a remodel and the building looks good. The housekeeping is always on time. We haven't had any major complaints.

I think Selene does a beautiful job. Mike is great. Everybody there is great at what they do. Any time we've been over there the food looks good. They've taken the time to really make a good menu - nutritious, but it also looks good. The care staff do everything well. They take care of my mom. When she needs to go upstairs to use her bathroom, they are right there. They give her water. They are constantly attending to her. That is a good place for an elderly person.

I think the value is excellent considering the care they give and the cleanliness. The compassion is the most important. The kindness and compassion they show my mother is very good. It exceeds others that we've seen for much more money. I would say the management is excellent. Communication is really good. In fact, the last several times I've been in, the manager of the Memory Care has been there. He is very welcoming. Every time I go in her room it is clean and her bed is made. The caregivers are so kind to my mother. Everyone knows her by name. They know me by name. If there is any issue, even if it is something that they've already taken care of or nothing I can do anything about, they call me on the phone. It has been excellent.

I think everybody is doing an excellent job. I know Cody is back there in the Memory Care unit, and he is the director. He is doing very, very well. He is pretty new, but he is trying to get activities and stuff going back there. My mom takes the shuttle bus there that they provide and she raves about Joe. Joe is the driver and he waits for her to get her meds at the doctor or the hospital. What I have to go by is what my mom tells me. I know my dad gets his medication, and the ladies back there monitor the meds pretty well. My mom is slowly starting to get involved in the activities. My mom gets her room cleaned, and she says they do an excellent job. My dad gets his clothes cleaned as well and his room is always clean every time I go there. The bed is made and everything else. Everything seems to be going very well.
