Orchard Park at Southfork

My mom is perfectly fine with the activities. She does the bingo every time they have it and she enjoys the painting. The staff also tries to get them out of the community once a week. Everything has been very clean here and the care staff has been very helpful in helping me get therapy arranged when she needed it. I definitely feel comfortable having her here and she feels comfortable here. I have a piece of mind having her here.

Management does a great job. My mom loves the food. She is slowly starting to participate in activities. The housekeeping and laundry does a good job, are on schedule and predicatable. The maintenance staff have helped with anything we've needed. All the folks we have met there have been really kind, really nice and eager to help. I have no complaints about the staff.

The dining services are efficient, and the staff is very respectful. The food looked and tasted great. I've had the most contact with Doris, and she keeps me very informed with medication refills. She is very quick to let me know what's going on. His room was freshly painted, and new blinds were put up. I think the building is being maintained well. So far, so good.

I have been extremely pleased with the management of the facility. My mom is raving about the food. If you don't like what they are serving for the day, you can always default to a second choice. They seem to keep the residents fairly busy, and you can participate if you want. Ithink they have enough activities going on that it keeps the residents busy and thinking. The relatives that have gone to visit have commented on the cleanliness of the place. Robert, who is the head of maintenance, seems like a very conscientious guy. He shook my hand, and I got the impression that he wouldn't let anything happen to any of those residents. I feel like my mom is being taken care of and she is just loving it. It has taken a tremendous load off of my shoulders. I know she is safe and secure, and I don't have to worry about it everyday. They presented the best cost. I don't think she would go back home. I think they have done a great job so far, and I am really grateful that I found the facility when we did.. My mom's transition has been better than I could have ever imagined.

Management was very good in how they coordinated the programs, and they seemed to be organized. The dining room had a wide variety of food. WIth regards to dietary requirements, they worked with you on an individual basis. This community has internal activities going on, plus they had the ability to get people out and engaged in activities outside of the community. I thought it was a plus that they had those outside activities. Maintenance gets on things really well. The caregivers took good care of her. I didn't see any bed sores, I didn't see her unkept, and when I came to visit, I didn't smell odors on her. Based on the services received, I think the price was very positive.

From what I see the food looks fine and the variety on the menu seems to be adequate. Housekeeping is doing a good job and my sister seems to have clean clothes and a clean bed. The care givers take care of a lot of things. They do try to maintain control among the residents and calm them down when needed. They are getting things done.

When I come in the front door, the place is always clean and neat with no odors. The activities seem good. Everyone eats dinner at the same time and the food is satisfactory. Management calls me if anything is out of sorts. He always looks comfortable and I like the prices because there are other communities that are not as nice by any means, but charge much more.

My mother says the food is good and she enjoys it very much. The activities seem to be very good, my mother's room is consistently pretty clean and I have never gone into this community and smelled any odor at all. The care is always consistent and the caregivers all know the residents and know their names. They greet them with a smile. It is a very positive atmosphere.

There are no odors at the community, so it is pleasing that everything is clean and well kept. My brother is enjoying the food offered during the dining experience, and overall, I am pleased with the care he is receiving. Everyone seems concerned about the people living there, so it seems like the residents are treated first.

It makes me feel good that wife feels comfortable and safe there, which are two big things for me, so the overall value is good. The staff does a good job so I am satisfied with the services she is getting.
