Orchard Park at Southfork

The food at the community was good, the Chef was a good guy and the waitresses were nice ladies. There were plenty of activities to do, housekeeping services were fine and the maintenance man has been there since day 1, so he was great. I was very satisfied with the care provided, so I was very satisfied with our experience.

They have great activities. They are always trying to get everybody to do something. The apartment seems to be maintained fairly well. The building and common areas are always maintained. My dad used the transportation just yesterday and they are very prompt. The care givers that tend to my dad seem to be concerned with his well being and that he is a real person.

The management staff has a good personality and are outgoing. They adressed issues timely.

Management does everything I would expect, they're always available and very agreeable, they've taken action on everything to my satisfaction. The staff works very hard at housekeeping and maintenance is really good, the place looks really nice. The healthcare staff is so caring and they work so hard, I've been impressed with their ability to maintain a cheerful outlook, they try to make cheerful remarks and really work at keeping each others' spirits up too.

Management has been great and my mother-in-law says the food is very good. Housekeeping has been great and the healthcare staff has gone above and beyond, they've all been great, I've been able to get ahold of people and they've all been able to answer my questions. She enjoys the activities, she's gone on outings and used it once to go to the doctor, that has been great.

He always says he likes the food. His room is always clean, the housekeepers do a good job. Maintenance is wonderful. Robert is always on it when you have an issue. The care givers are good. My loved one is safe there, and I know he is very comfortable.

Dad's room is spacious and I like the layout. It is by far better than other options I have looked at. I am very satisfied with the management team. I have had dinner with him once or twice. He likes the food and says it is good. They do a lot of activities with the residents. They do bingo and go on outings and I go with them. Housekeeping comes in once a week. The place is usually pretty clean. I will say they are very attentive to my dad.

The reason I chose Orchard Park of Southfork for my mother was because of location, cleanliness and that the staff seemed really friendly. Management has good communication and they make sure that mom has everything she needs.

I already told my children that if I get to a point that I can't live on my own, this is the place I want to be at because the place sells itself. Some people put on a show when they know you're coming, but the workers at Orchard Park are enthusiastic and people aren't there just for a paycheck. Everyone knows everyone's names, so it's just so personable. There are enough activities, but it's so wonderful because people need to get out and they have things for them to do. It's not like in Nursing Homes where people are just waiting around to die, but rather they help residents live their lives. People at my father's old community were only there were for paychecks in the way we were treated, but when I asked him how he likes his new home at Orchard Park, he has said he loves it, so I love it.

We chose the community for mom based off a recommendation from a coworker. I love the attentiveness, the professionalism, how family oriented the staff is. So far observing the activities she has participated in, I am pleased. Overall, I am very satisfied with the care my mom is receiving.
