Orchard Park at Southfork

I did a walkthrough and the people were very friendly, I liked the way the setup was, they explained everything to me and it sounded like it would work out great for my mom. The management staff keep me well informed of what's going on, I'm never in the blind, they call me and let me know and give me updates on her progress. When I'm there they acknowledge me and tell me where she is. The healthcare staff is fantastic, they are doing a great job and they take time with my mom so I'm appreciative of that. I definitely feel that she's safe and it's a big load off my shoulders.

My dad has been at Orchard Park at Southfork for 6 months and we've been satisfied with the service and accommodations so far. If he isn't in the dining room, they come check on him and if we ever have him out too late, they'll have a plate ready for him so the service is great. When there was a cracked window, maintenance replaced it fast and we think the healthcare staff is very good so all in all, it's been positive.

We only had a week to find mom a new place to live. Orchard Park was able to get her in very quickly and were very accommodating. The managment has been accessible and answered all of our questions and we have had several. We were skeptical about the food there but found out mom really likes it. We have had several family members go and visit mom there and they have remarked at how nice the place is and told us they were very glad that we were able to get her in there. We are very happy.

There is a great variety of activities on the calendar for my wife to participate in. She really likes the walking therapy that the care staff provides. I am really pleased with the way the community always looks very neat and tidy.

I would say for the most part I am satisfied with my father's stay at Orchard Park. I think management has been reachable, and they listen and take action. There are always activities going on, for example: I see people playing Bingo when I visit, although my father does not participate. I think the healthcare services and people have been good, they call me as needed and answer my calls. I don't have any complaints. It has been a good experience.

I would recommend it. The servers innthe dining room were great. My sister loved it the food, as a matter of fact, the whole time she was at the hospital she was complaining about the food and wanted to go back to Orchard Park to eat. Andrea is very nice and attentive and helpful. She was instrumental in helping us move.The maintenance man was also very helpful, he fixed one of her drawers when she couldn't get it open. My sister felt safe and I guess as comfortable as could be expected at a facility like that.

So far the management team has been working with us, and it has been a pleasant experience. They have quite a few activities offered. They try to change it up and involve everybody, which has been good for my mom. The dining service has been pretty good overall as well. Carolyn was very helpful getting us settled, and making me and my mom feel comfortable. I would recommend Orchard Park.

My sister has been at Orchard Park for about a year and a half now. The management has been good, she hasn't had any problems with anyone. Dining and activities appear to be doing okay. She does go out places every Friday, which is good. We have had a few issues come up, but overall it has been a good experience.

So far, the experience has been positive. The staff has been supportive and attentive. They helped us with the move-in and they have a routine, policies and practices that seem to be very beneficial to the residents. Housekeeping takes responsibility for putting things away. The care staff coordinates well with the family on the best way to handle things. They're attentive and respectful but firm, and also pleasant. The staff is really upbeat, pleasant, and I like what they're doing. They have experience working with Memory Care issues. It's a nice mix of people and a good community.

It was a great experience. She was sick and had to go into the hospital. They had activities. She didn't have a chance to participate because she was that mobile. The place was beautiful. The staff really did help her. I never had any major issues.
