Palms (Gardens) of Lake Spivey

Management has been very good and helpful. They have been more than willing to answer any questions we have. My mom likes the food and has thoroughly enjoyed it. The activities are very good. She has enjoyed the activities that she has gone to. Housekeeping is on a schedule and keeps her room clean for her. The building is in good shape. The caregivers have been very diligent. They are on top of it.

The housekeeing seems okay. They are cleaning her apartment and they are doing her laundry. I think they have good activities. I know they do have a lot of activities for the residents there. She isn't complaining about the meals. As far as management, everything is going okay for right now. The value is pretty comparable to other facilities that offer the same services. As far as what she needs, I think everything is fine.

I think the dining staff does well with the presentation of the food, and they are knowledgeable about the residents. The cleaning is okay, and the transportation is relatively timely. I put in a maintenance request and was told it would take a few days for them to get to it. The next day, the gentleman was here to do what needed to be done. Everything is going very well.

I looked at several and this offered what I needed. Everybody's been wonderful. Maintenance is outstanding, so helpful. They have all kinds of activities here, something for everybody. The food here is outstanding. I feel very safe. I am very pleased with my apartment. Compared to other places, it's the best value.

Everyone was so friendly to me, staff and residents, I moved in and am staying here for sure. It's like a five-star hotel. The management is wonderful. They are so helpful, not just the management staff, but people in general. You never have to ask for anything twice. The food is excellent. The Easter dinner we had was outstanding.

This community offers a wide variety of activities. They offer outings and she loves the idea that they will take them to Walmart and the grocery store. Maintenance does a beautiful job with maintaining the building. The grounds and interior look very nice.

I chose to move in because I had some friends that had lived here before. The value is okay, the price seems to be fair. Maintenance fixed my TV and fixed my door when I couldn’t get the key to work. The managers are just real nice. I do feel safe here.

We chose this community for my mom because it seemed to be really nice and everybody was really friendly. For what they get I think it is a pretty good value. Management has been really helpful in everything and understanding with my mom. She raves about the food. The servers get to know the residents pretty quickly. When they come over they tend to already know what she would like to drink based off of what she has gotten in the past. They have a lot of activities going on and they keep the residents busy. My mom really likes the bingo. Housekeeping keeps her room very clean and organized and maintenance is very good. They have taken her under their wings and watch over her when we are not around. My mom has used the shuttle a couple of times and it was very convenient.

We had done a whole lot of research on homes and it felt like this community was the best fit for my mother. It seems like a safe place. If I had any questions I would call Kimberly, the director, and she would email me back that day and then we would probably talk the next day. The service in the dining room is pretty good and the activities director is good. She tries to get my mother up and involved in more things. My mother's room is always clean and she hasn't had any problems with the transportation services.

We looked at several of them and we liked the facilities there and my mom had several friends that were there so everything went together. My mom is happy with the food. The maintenance staff have been very helpful. When we moved in we had two or three little things and they took care of it. The grounds are very nice. My mom is quite happy with the care staff.
