Palms (Gardens) of Lake Spivey

My sister is really content here. She participates in line dancing, she goes to the theater. I myself absolutely love the garden area they have. Everything is very nice, I wouldn't mind to live here myself.

This is my second move-in. I had to move, and then I returned, and I am so glad to be back here. I have housekeeping every other week and they know how to take care of what I need and I trust them to come in when I'm not here. Transportation is prompt in taking us and we have schedules we maintain of when we can go and get service. Very good driver, very accommodating. If there's any complaints maintenance tries to address that to the resident. I'm satisfied with the activities and the managers. I've seen other communities and talked to people who live in other communities and I made the best choice.

My partner and I just moved in two days ago and so far we find the value is quite good. Management has been very helpful in communicating back and forth during our move-in. So far the food is great and the servers are very friendly. Housekeeping and laundry are very good so far as well. I would highly recommend this community to others.

I moved in recently because this place was a little cheaper than where I was. The two drivers, Dave and Michael, they are super. The people are very friendly and respectful. I talk to Carol at the front desk and she is just a bright and shining star, she always has a smile and talks to you. I haven't seen anybody that hasn't been friendly and kind here. You cannot ask for anything better regarding maintenance. I had ants and Lewis came and sprayed and I don't have any more problems, he is a very nice man. Maintenance is very good and very pleasant. I have had a few issues, but it has been good so far.

We liked the building itself, how nice the rooms were, the cost, and how friendly the staff was. For the price, the rooms are much nicer than at other communities we looked at. The management as been friendly and my friend is just startinf to get into the schedule of activities. We haven't had any complaints so far.

I wanted to move closer to my relatives in this area. I spoke to Tricia, got to look at things here, and liked it. Management has treated me very nicely, and they're easy to talk to as well as get along with. Maintenance has been very helpful. I love this place. I just really appreciate being here.

My father already had a lady friend that he would visit for years and when it was his time to need independent living, we knew that this would be the place. So far we're happy, it's only been two days but we were well aware of the Palms before we moved in because he visited his girlfriend so much. We've already spoken to Robert and Caesar and they're going to take care of some maintenance issues and come over so everything will be taken care of. They've been very helpful. Everything else has been great.

I chose this community for my parents because it is a combined community with both independent and assisted living and it was clean. The property is beautiful. Everybody has been so responsive. Trish was amazing in making sure everything was happening. They seem to love the food. They love that there are a lot of different options. There are plenty of activities offered. The staff is great. Everything looked great upon move-in. My mom cannot stop raving about Mr. Lewis in maintenance. He has been attentive, timely and awesome to them. I would definitely recommend it. If I were older I would move in there myself!

We chose the Palms of Lake Spivey for the price, convenience and the overall appearance of the community. I'm happy about the cost; it's reasonable. My parents really like their apartment. The management team has been respectful and available to answer questions. My parents just rave about the dining. They even text me what they're having for dinner. They already have their favorite staff members. The maintenance guy came around during move-in to help with the headboards or whatever they might have needed. Whatever we've asked has been done.

We went and looked at a couple of them. My father wanted an Independent Living, so we chose this one. He wanted a bedroom window facing east. I don't know how they did it, but they found him a bedroom with a window facing east. He's got his schedule of all the activities, so I know they are keeping him abreast of all they have to offer there. I think the only thing he really needed was the shower rod hung, and they came that day to hang it up. The maintenance guys got to it in a pretty timely fashion. It's been good.
