Pine Trails at Castle Rock

My mother seems very content there and overall, we are very happy. The caregivers are very comforting and really seem to care about the residents. They've got great activities and my Mom says she loves the food.

The management is absolutely great. We have had problems pop up with family members and they have been very respectful and very responsive. I am there when the meals are served. I know they just got somebody new and the lunch that came out today looked healthy and the residents seemed to enjoy it. Looks good enough for me to eat. Gary is the activities director and he works his tail off. I think overall they are all great. The rooms are kept clean and the laundry is kept up. The maintenance of the building is real good. It always smells wonderful. They keep the downstairs and the kitchen area clean.

Overall I have been very pleased. This is the only place that was really affordable so I am very pleased with the price. Management is great. The food looks good and the times I have been there it has been great. When I am there, the activities are okay and when I visit, her room is nice and clean and her laundry is done. The building is very good and her room is in good shape. From what I have seen, the caregivers are all very helpful.

I think Pine Trails at Castle Rock is really an excellent place and we're so happy we found it when we moved my mother there. She is very well taken care of. The community is always clean and there are various workers around doing things, so the place looks immaculate. Her room is always well cared for and we never had any problems with anything. I think it's a wonderful place, so we're just thrilled that we were able to find it and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

I had put him here for a respite stay but it became clear that he needed to be here permanently. He is being well cared for here so I am not worried. I feel like he is safe and I see him as comfortable. He has no complaints being here. There are no bad odors in this community like other nursing homes have and the maintenance is quite good. I have never been there and thought oh gee they need to bring something in. I am satisfied that I am getting a good value for the money compared to other places. As long as I can maintain the price and have a reasonable life then the price they charge is spot on for me.

The value my father received before passing away was excellent. The courtyards always looked nice and his apartment didn't need any repairs. He had clean clothes and the people at dining were always friendly, kind to the residents and helpful to me even outside of the kitchen. Plus, my dad always loved the food and when we went for Christmas, we liked the food too.

Mom is very happy and very comfortable. She enjoys the dining very well and I think they do a terrific job. They have a really nice variety of activities offered. I think the maintenance is great. They've done a remodel and everything looks nice. They take her to all of her appointments. Even when the weather is bad they go above and beyond to get her to her appointments and t is greatly appreciated. They have always done good with her. They are kind, compassionate and very respectful. Everybody has been really wonderful to our family.

Mom has been there for a few months and so far, so good. I haven’t heard any complaints about housekeeping or laundry, so we’re satisfied. I think maintenance is good. I met the guy who does that and he's pretty good. She had a problem with the air conditioning which he corrected. It's a fairly new building pretty good shape. When I am there the care givers do check on her. When I am there sitting with her they'll come in check to make sure she's okay, that part is pretty good. And I know they assist her in bathing. I think it's a secure place and I know mom is comfortable. I'd say it's a good value.

Two and a half years in and my mom is safe there. I was there last time for lunch and it looked very nice, and I do speak sometimes with Gary the Activities Director and he is very involved and implements some creative activities for everyone. Mom uses the bus they have minimally for outings, to the library, park, driving around, and I know they do shopping trips. Primarily my interaction with management is with the Business Manager, and Lauren has always been fantastic. When I am in her room it always seems very clean, and around the community everything seems to be in order, I've never noticed anything broken. The care staff is fantastic. Compared to other communities the price here is less, so given the marketplace, the value is good.

The people they have care so much, I don't know how they do it. They are very caring. I think maintenance does a good job. The woman that cleans the room, Georgia, is awesome. She does a really good job.
