The Renaissance of Stillwater

Management is treating us very well and the healthcare staff is very good, they take care of us. The menu is very good and the housekeeping and transportation services couldn't be better.

I have experience with every community in Stillwater and I think the Renaissance is great for my mom.The food is great, there is plenty of menu variety and the service is good, so as far as I am concerned, she gets the care that she needs and other people do too. I think the people do fine and I haven't had any problems with management. If I have questions, they get answered, which is what I am looking for. There have been no concerns.

I think he is a getting a good value. I was paying for in home care before and it was expensive. Now, he gets his food and they take care of him so this has been really good. I really enjoy them being so kind to him.

Management loves my mom and they take such good care of her. Everything is just A+. The healthcare staff love my mom and they treat her like she's a queen. They're very accomodating in getting my mom to her appointments on the bus. Housekeeping is excellent as well. In terms of dining, my mom loves the food and doesn't miss a meal. When we've eaten there for the different events it's been good too.

The front desk is always very helpful and very nice and keep me well informed. They are very good. The apartment always seems clean. The care givers all seem to be very, very nice. Everything is pretty good.

I think the managers handle things that need to be handled well, they do it in a timely manner, and they're taking good care of my sister, so I am quite satisfied with them. My sister is happy with the food; I haven’t heard her complain at all about the dining. The staff did send me a video of her doing calisthenics while sitting down, so I would say the activities are adequate. They have quite a few of them and they're interesting. There are holidays, bus trips, and entertainers coming in. The building and her apartment are kept quite clean, and maintenance seems to be quite good. I never see anything wrong, and they're always making improvements around the community. I think the price is as fair as it can be in this market, and my sister is comfortable there and safe, I think they're doing pretty well.

Management has done all sorts of things to help us.

I chose this community for my husband because is needs were going to be met better here with the location of the apartment to the dining room. It was all on one level too. My husband is eating and has only complained about one meal so far. He cleans his plate up most times. I understand he has started trying to do the exercises and has been to the social hour in activities. His light was flickering in his apartment, his daughter turned it in and the maintenance team came and fixed it instantly. I think overall they are doing just fine.

We had my dad somewhere else before and it was a lot more expensive and not nearly as good as this community. Kelly, the director, is trying to do a really good job. I am there quite often when he is having lunch and everything seems to be good. It seems like they do what they need to for him according to his diet. Veronica, the activities coordinator, does a really good job trying to get everyone involved and think of things for them to do. She tries to incorporate something that they all can do. We had issues with the TV and maintenance was helpful with that and the building always looks good when I go visit. Transportation is always willing to take him or pick him up from appointments. The caregivers do well and give him the care that he needs.

Everything we've researched was more than what we're paying now for less service. I’m very pleased with the value. Management has always been very helpful, accommodating and answer questions that I might have, they do a great job. The food is outstanding and it looks wonderfully appetizing. The servers in the dining room are very patient with the residents that they have to feed; they're very kind and attentive. The activities director is very good at reaching out to let us know if there are any activities that the family can attend. The care staff is great, housekeeping does a great job and anytime we want something done, maintenance is right there to do it.
