The Reserve at East Longmeadow

Mom is comfortable there at The Reserve. For the average person the food and dining are great, and it seems like some activity is going on all the time. The people enjoy the once a week entertainment. I think maintenance does a good job. I always seem them painting and cleaning. It's a very practical layout of her apartment, her shower is a walk-in, it's great. My mother used the transportation there once and it was fine. The gentleman was there early and was very accommodating. My mother got back fine and said he was very nice. Most of the girls and guys of the care staff are pretty nice. Management is good. The Director has been very helpful. We had issues with my mother in terms of if we could bring her back from rehab and he was very accommodating and willing to see us right away and help get her back in. He did his part. Samantha, the receptionist and Judy in the mornings, they go out of their way to help you. If you have a question or need to talk to someone they are very good, respectful, friendly, and always say hi with a smile on their face. I compared a lot of places and the price is comparable, and we’re satisfied with the services mom gets. The value is fair.

The value is fair. I have been satisfied with all of the departments. Housekeeping is average and my mom is somewhat happy with the food variety and quality.

I haven't dealt much with management except recently I had a conversation with the Director and he's been helpful. There are a lot of activities for my mom to participate in and the healthcare staff have been very very nice to mom. There's no problem anymore so at this point I'm satisfied with the fact they are giving her her pills in the morning.

We moved our dad out after three years because he needs a higher level of care. Andy and his maintenance staff are unbelievable. They met my father's every need and responded same day. I cannot give enough compliments. The community is beautiful, well kept. Between Jordan, Andy in maintenance, Rhonda in nursing, and Amy in Memory Care, you couldn't have better staff.

There is nothing better for the price. This is what my mother wants and this is what she gets. I am very happy with her here. Her apartment is great. I couldn't ask for anything better. I love this place and it is great. They hired the chef from a restaurant and it is unbelievable. It is very nice and quant. The food is top notch. I see a calendar of events every time I go there and there is something to do there twice a day. They have people come in and sing. They have activities outside like barbeques. This community is spotless and the building is brand new and beautiful. The caregivers honestly care. She has a button and they are right there if she needs anything. They ask me if I have any issues. They go out of their way to kiss her butt. I trust them with my mother's life so that shows how I feel about them. The staff tries to make the family comfortable here and they are great. The people that live here are friendly and it is very nice. This place is top notch and top of the line. I would recommend it to anyone. I rest at night knowing my mother is there.

I think the management here is great. Housekeeping is very good and the maintenance team is great. The caregivers here are very good as well.

My loved one moved into this community because they had a companion suite available. A lot of the assisted livings did not have any rooms available but this one did. I feel like her living fee is fair. There is a lot of communication between everyone at this community. The housekeeping at this community is good. She has all of her pictures hung up and maintenance cleaned the rugs before she moved in. The building is very good. I am pleased with how it looks inside and outside. There are no constant odors. They are on top of keeping the place in good shape. There are enough caregivers at this community. I can always find someone if needed.

The Reserve at East Longmeadow provides a lot of amenities and we haven't been aware of all that is available yet. Management has made it clear that if we have any questions, to just ask since they're there to show around and help us enjoy our experience, so the value is tremendous for us and appropriate. Dining services provide what looks like a very healthy and multiple choices of cuisine there and the activities are absolutely outstanding. I went yesterday and sat at one of the concerts, but I honestly am fearful of change because it's that good and rewarding all day long. I cannot believe how many people enjoy the fireplaces sitting there with their wheelchairs enjoying it in their sweaters, so I bring my mother out there and you can feel the heat coming off the fireplace which makes for a great family atmosphere. Regarding her care, the Director of Nursing and the Nurses have been good so we're satisfied with her stay at the community.

I have noc omplaints about the value for my uncle being there. The front desk is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It seems like they plan out a lot of activities and he really likes the singing. Theresa the housekeeper is very friendly. She goes out of her way to improve things. The maintenance guys are always there. They are accessible. If you need something fixed they will fix it. We have recommended them several times.

I live here at the community and I think the management staff is very hands on and willing to help. I am very pleased with the streamlined improvements that have been made in the dining department, there is no longer a wait time. I am also very happy with the woman they does the cleaning of my apartments, she does a good job. They maintenance team are very quick to respond to an issue. When they see something that needs fixing in the building they get to it right away, so overall it's good.
