The Reserve at East Longmeadow

The management staff was really great to work with and were helpful to the whole process, I'm very grateful for everything that they did for my father-in-law. From what I saw on the calendar, the events seemed great. He really liked the girls there, he made a lot of good connections there which I think is really important to have people working with the elderly who are able to make those connections. I'm very grateful for everything that they did for him.

The prices where I live are double, so I think for what she is getting that it's great. Management is responsive and Judy from the front desk is great because she is warm, caring, organized and my mother loves her. The wait staff are the nicest people and they care about my mother, knowing what she likes and making sure she has it. In terms of services, the laundry and housekeeping have been great and whenever she calls, they come right over so it's been really great and nice. The healthcare staff is respectful, accessible and responsive so overall, the experience has been good thus far.

My moms apartment is always very neat and clean. In terms of housekeeping, she has a special plate that she uses for meals and they always have it washed and sitting on the counter. The gardens are pretty and the inside of the building seems well taken care of. It was a much better deal at the Reserve than where she was.

I appreciate the communication the management provides. I feel well-informed. Leon is fantastic, if you put in a call, he's there for any of your maintenance needs. The apartment is clean. I'm there once a week and everything is clean and neat. As far as the dusting, it doesn't smell, everything is picked up. I'm impressed with it. I try to encourage my mom to go to the exercise classes and she has attended them but now that she is more immobile, she doesn't leave her room except for meals. She enjoys the music programs and those types of thing. Everyone has been great as far as the people that I have worked with. She's cared for and I know she's safe, I don't think I could ask for anything more.

I think my father-in-laws stay at the community has been fine for the most part. The value is fair for what he is receiving. We haven't had any complaints in regards to the dining on his part. There is always something offered for him to be doing in terms of activities. We haven't had any concerns regarding the cleanliness of his apartment. All in all, it's a nice building and there is always something for him to do.

We are very pleased with the overall value. We think it's a wonderful facility; we are very pleased dad is able to stay there. The management team has been great and has been very receptive to our needs. The community brings in a hair stylist which is wonderful for people who are less mobile. I think they try to bring everything they can, we are thrilled with them. Maintenance is awesome. My dad loves the two guys that work there, Andy and someone else. They are wonderful… The grounds as well, inside and out, look great. John is awesome. He rolls his sleeves up and is very enthusiastic. He is 100% into the residents, he is just a great activities director overall. We have been very pleased.

My father lives at the Reserve and I would say it has been good for the most part. The dining is pleasant and the activities seem good, although my father does not participate. The housekeeping and maintenance departments both do a really great job. I think the place is good.

The value seems to be competitive with other communities of that type. Although I have had a few concerns, the community has been good for the most part. The staff teams have been accessible and responsive. I would recommend it.

I've really been impressed with the professionalism of everyone there. My uncle has been happy there, and I have been happy when I've been there. I've only been there a limited number of times, but each time I have always been addressed very professionally and very courteously by the management group. Everyone has been very, very knowledgeable. I am thrilled that my uncle is there. I ate there once at Easter and it was wonderful! The service and the food were very good. I was very well apprised at the beginning and there have been no issues on any level. The physicians and the nurses - no issues whatsoever.

I think the price is okay. The activities are good. The dining staff was very nice and personable, and welcoming when my mother returned from the hospital. Maintenance is very good. Everything seems clean and put together there. It's clean, it's nice. People I bring are always impressed by how it looks. The nurse is nice and lovely. I have no concerns.
