The Reserve at North Dallas

My children came from other parts of the country and looked over a lot of places and found this one to be the best. I came, looked at it, and decided it would be okay for my husband and I. The food quality is good and the activities look okay. We did go down to listen to some singers they other night which was enjoyable. It’s very pleasant and always clean around the community and our apartment is always clean and picked up. I used the transportation service they provide here once and it was very satisfactory. It's been very pleasant so far.

Our apartment is very good. We do not have to pay for the utilities and that is a big plus. The food program is a big plus to us also. We have been going down every night for dinner and the service has been very good. I have looked at the activities and thought there was an abundance of things to do. I am a knitting person and there is a knitting group here that makes hats for women who are going through chemo. I am looking forward to doing that. d. We had people knock on our door with a rose to greet us and the transportation man came and explained how it worked to us. That was just delightful. We have been treated well and I don't think we could ask for any better.

Our daughter chose this community for us because she lives about 10 minutes from us. What I have seen so far with management has been very good. They're very friendly and we've gotten anything we've wanted. The dining has been really good and what we've had so far has been very good. The service is wonderful and they're very quick. They check on us often to make sure we have everything we need. The building is very clean and very quiet. The activities look great and it looks like there is plenty to do. The friendliness is great here, I've gotten to know a few people already and it feels very comfortable here.

My loved on recently moved out after almost five years. They always had a good variety of different programs. She loved most of them, she really enjoyed the activities. From my experience I would say the dining is good. I only ate there twice a year for the holiday meals. The food was okay, not excellent, and housekeeping was adequate. The price was absolutely fair. Management was excellent. They always saw to her needs. Any time I had a question I always got a call back. The move out was a medical necessity per her doctor, he requested we move her into a Memory Care community as soon as possible. I am very sorry she had to leave so suddenly. She loved it there. I didn’t have any other choice, it was just one of those things. I wish we didn’t have had to leave, we love everybody there, the staff, the residents, everybody. I can’t thank them enough for caring so much and being so nice to her. She loved living there. I'll recommend them to anybody I can.

I chose this community for the high ratings and all of the amenities. I've never been to a facility that they've paid such close attention to their residents to make them happy and to make them feel welcome. All of the management, within a day, knew my name without wearing a name tag and I was impressed. There are many menu choices and the food is hot and delicious. The servers are top notch as well. They have far more activities than you could ever attend. They have such a great variety too, different things that you can do. I did submit a work order and maintenance was very responsive and took care of what I needed. It's a great place.

I think the management is lovely and they are very pleasant to deal with. In regards to the activities, I think they offer just about everything that I would expect a place like this to offer. I am amazed at how well it works for me. I think it is excellent.

My mom moved to this community because when I walked in I felt like there was a good sense of community between the staff and the residents. Everybody has been straight forward. Management answered all our questions and followed up with us. They have been really terrific. Michael, who is in charge of helping find caregivers in independent living, connected us up with some people. Michael called me back the next day to make sure they had been in touch with me. A week later, he asked me if I was happy with the situation. I think the food is pretty good for an institution and Mom is really happy with the ten flavors of ice cream. The happy hour and the degree of entertainment is outstanding. I think the housekeeper went in today and she was very happy with the cleaning. Maintenance is terrific and very friendly. We like that there is a significant Jewish population here. They offer a Friday night service for the residents. I think the value is terrific. I feel like we are getting a lot for our money.

I work in the Jewish community and know a lot of Jewish residents are there, so I thought it was a good fit for my mom. The managers have been responsive and accessible top us, and we’re happy with the food and variety of choices on the menu. She hasn’t done very many yet, but I am sure the activities are very good. Maintenance has been attentive and fixed some things in the apartment. I do think the price is fair foe what we get, and I know my mom is safe there.

I think dad has a good apartment, they did a nice job preparing it for move-in seven months back. The help from Michael, Mary, and Roslyn in management, and the folks at the front desk have been good. I think the food is very good. I've eaten there several time with my father. The activities seem to be planned well and are consistently entertaining. The housekeeping seems to be done well. I do see clean sheets changed regularly. I’m satisfied with the services he gets and my dad is safe there.

I think with all the services provided the price is right. I think it has been a good place for him to be and I wouldn't want him to move. Ryan has done a great job, the food service management. We use the transportation for medical appointments and that has worked really well. Aita does the over all araging and Edwin is the driver because he is in a wheelchair and needs the bus. They are so polite. If there was one mixup it quickly got turned around. It's been great. The front desk has been so helpful. He doesn't go to the activities but I think they're doing a really good job.
