The Retreat at Sunbrook Assisted Living

I would say the activities are really good. I know there is lots of activities offered. The community always seems nice and clean. They seem like they do well with the care. It seems like it has been good.

I feel like when my mom has needed personal attention they have been there to answer my call and act proactively on it. I think they do a fantastic job of providing a variety of different activities for them to participate in. She is pretty independent but when she has needed help they've been good to go in and check on her.

You cannot find a better place than this community. The staff are all personable, loving, and caring. They work very hard to keep us entertained and happy. Everybody is so happy here!

This is the best place in town. They have done a great job at this community. The care staff always makes sure that my mother in law has her meds, and I think the staff is doing fine with activities. She is happy with the food, and the meals are substantial quanities. She loves the place. I'm pretty happy with managment. The value is excellent.

The management does a great job with taking care of my mother. When things need to be done they keep me informed and involved and they get things done. I know that she is in good hands because of them. Overall, the food is like restaurant quality. There is a lot of variety of activities and there are multiple things every day. They have done a excellent job with housekeeping and laundry and they are friendly and they do their job well. The building is in excellent condition.

This is a great community for someone looking for their parents or grandparents to remain active. The management team is very active and always responds to the residents requests. The doors are always open and the community doesn't beat anything else!

Any dealings that I have had with management have been good. They have always been prompt to answer questions and will do what needs to be done. The food is good and is prepared well. The wait staff is good, and they are nice people. I enjoy visiting with them. The maintenance staff is very prompt. I put in work orders when I need something done, and usually they are very prompt about getting here. I love the apartment, and I love the design. That is one reason why I chose the Retreat. I really am very happy here. The activities are good. I have already recommended this community. There is no place that would be better.

She is happy. She feels like she lives on a cruise ship that is docked. I think management is very receptive. They have answered all of our questions immediately. She is delighted with the chef, the food and the variety. She just loves everything about it. They come and knock on her door every day. She feels like they spoil her specifically. When staff can make every person feel like they are the most important resident there, that is really special. If she needs anything specific, they will bring the car around and take her for a prescription or a meeting. Again, she feels like she is number one.

Management has been pretty decent. My loved one says they are 'johnny on the spot'. When I have been here, the dining service seems to be excellent. She fell a week or so ago and didn't tell me about it until after the fact. She said the girls came right up and helped her immediately. It seems like everyone else is involved in the activities and is having a good time. I have seen the calendar, and they seem to be really well done. I think housekeeping does an excellent job, and whenever she needs something, there is always someone from maintenance there to help her. I think the building is beautiful, and the grounds are well kept.

When I need the care staff, they're right there. When I need a driver, they'll take care of it. The maintenance man fixes everything as soon as he can. He does it well and keeps the place up. The activities director works hard to have a good variety. The management team works hard. They're friendly. They're happy. It makes for a pleasant place to live.
