The Retreat at Sunbrook Assisted Living

My dad was just impressed with the facilities, particularly the pool table, so he chose to move into the community. He also loved he could have a balcony. Dad says the food is really good. The care staff is accessible, responsive, and they know him and know about him. He really likes everyone, dad’s happy. It's a fair price and we are satisfied with what he gets for the money.

They do a very good job. The staff has been very good at trying to get her to come down and socialize more in activities. They are really sweet people that work in there.

Management is great. They're concerned about my mother and keep me informed. The healthcare staff cares about her, and they're respectful and kind. I think the maintenance is great. She hasn't had any issues.

Justin is amazing. He bends over backwards to make sure things are done correctly for us and the people there. The cook is amazing. He goes out of his way. He's kind, he explains things,and he's just amazing. I cannot sing enough praises. I think they are careful to do activities that interest the crowd, and they bring in really good entertainment. They really go the extra mile. They have a monthly calendar that also goes to me and a daily calendar on their door. Laundry is great and maintenance is awesome.

Management is really attentive to my mom, and they call me back immediately and are quick to respond. There’s a good variety of activities and they always have something going on. Housekeeping and laundry service are good. The transportation service there is available if you need a ride and they have regular schedules for shopping and activities. The care givers are attentive and check on her regularly. I do think it's a great place, it’s a nice community, and it's a good value.

She is happy with her apartment and management knows both, my mother and I, so they're very personable and care about the people. The activities are nice and there are enough opportunities to participate. The housekeeping is good, consistent and the maintenance man handles issues in a timely manner. Overall, everybody is conscientious and concerned about my mother's well being, so I appreciate all of that.

Management is very detail oriented, pay attention to our needs and act like they care, so they do a good job. I think the place does fantastic with dining. The healthcare staff is right there to help residents. For what the price is and what the community is itself, it's more than fair and I think everything is both, pretty well taken care of and professionally done.

The managers are caring and go above and beyond. The dining staff was wonderful and gracious. They have great activities with a good variety. Maintenance was wonderful and the building was well kept, no odors. The care givers did a great job with her meds. I would say the value is excellent, everybody is just so gracious there and I can't praise them enough.

The management group at the community is really good. I can call him on his cellphone any time and Megan is always willing to help even though she is in charge of sales. Alexis at the front desk is both very friendly and helpful with keeping his mail in check. Caitlyn, in charge of Enchanced Care, is just wonderful. She is always happy and says hi John every time I walk through the door, so she does a tremendous job.

We looked at a lot of places before she moved there and overall, it was by far the best place. It's a good value, every interaction with management has been great and staff at the community are outgoing. My mother enjoys it, we enjoy her being there and they take of her needs, so I think it's a great place, I really do.
