The Retreat at SunRiver St. George

It's very appealing when you walk in through the door and everything functions, so it's a nice community and well maintained. They have activities going on all the time and they're personable with the residents. She is enjoys the food, the service is totally adequate and I trust management with her.

My mother is very happy in the community, and I feel very comfortable with the healthcare provided. The management staff is very helpful, and the dining service and food quality and variety is excellent. All of the staff seems to really care for the residents. I have no complaints.

My step mother is fine with the activities, the management is great and the accommodations are satisfactory. The building looks good and she enjoys the dining most of the time. The best thing for me is that they have had consistent management because it has made all of the difference.

My loved one has lived there a year and he is very content with the apartment and I am grateful for that. He appreciates the extra care and attentiveness the caregivers provide. I am happy with maintenance. The building is well taken care of and his issue was reported and taken care of quickly. He loves the activities.He is definitely enjoying the food and meals. The managers are easy to work with, respond to requests. When I call with an issue to resolve they work on it. I am grateful the Retreat is new and up to date and he loves it.

The community has improved since Garrett took over the management. He is very pleasant and willing to listen. Mom loves to play bingo in activities. Kim, at the front desk, is very happy and polite. I like her a lot. The lady that does the activities is exceptional. Kathy is good with the people in the dining room.

The main director has been great and Heather has been awesome. The menu variety, service and food quality are good. The care staff do well getting my dad ready when I'm going to pick him up and they have great activities for the residents.

We chose The Retreat at SunRiver for my mother because when we moved down from Minnesota and my sister asked around, it was recommended to us. So far, the management is really responsive and is willing to meet with us, talk with us and keep us informed and while it's hard to know, I'd say healthcare staff is respectful, accessible and responsive. Regarding activities, they try hard to do stuff she is interested in, saying that she is interacting more lately and that she enjoys the music is offered. The building is nice and I believe she feels safe and comfortable living at the community as well, so it's been a great experience for her. Overall, there is always plenty of people there and it's quite a bit cheaper than where she was before, so the community has been a good value for her.

I chose this community for my cousin because we're residents of SunRiver so we knew about it and the need for my cousin to go in developed and this was our first choice. Management has been wonderful, from Megan to Garret and Nance, Kim at the front desk, everyone I have dealt with has been superb. Andy and Julia in nursing have also been wonderful. I get the activities list online and I think it's excellent. My cousin played bingo one day and I've told him about the movies. I think what you offer is great and the activities are there if you want to do them. Everyone that I have dealt with has just gone out of their way to help.

I checked out a lot of places a year ago, and SunRiver is really good, so my sister moved in. The value is really good. I love her apartment, I think she has the best one in the community. Maintenance has been really good. The building is always clean and smells good. The management team is very receptive. Anything I need to ask about, they're right on it. My sister loves the activities. And housekeeping is good. They're great. My sister uses the community transportation van for her doctor visits. They're very amenable and work with her. The care givers are very responsive and careful with her. They are very receptive to anything I have to say. She likes everybody who is there, they're sweet, affectionate, and they listen.

It's a very nice facility, it's clean and neat, my mother's stuff is all taken care of all the time. My mother has used the transportation services and they have been just fine for her. I've never been there for the activities but, they keep my mother entertained so I would imagine they're OK.
