Royal Estates of Wichita Falls

My loved one has been in there for two years, and she gets more than I pay for. The food is good and the service from wait staff is good. I'm always aware of what activities are going on, the schedules are posted on the walls and the tables. The maintenance people are very good and the leadership management is excellent. I may move into Royal Estates myself eventually.

The management has been amazing and they keep me posted. Even the person at the front desk keeps me posted. They have been just wonderful. The people in the dining room are amazing. She doesn't really do activities, but when I am there I see other people doing activities and they look great. They have a lot of people involved in the activities so I am assuming it is going well. Anytime my mom needs light bulbs replaced and anythng else they get it done in a timely manner. The care givers are amazing. They are fantastic.

I priced around before I placed my husband there, it's very reasonable and affordable. They really have a lot of activities going there, painting, bingo, you name it. If I have any questions I go to Lucy's office. In terms of maintenance, if you put an order in, it does get done.

Everyone is always friendly and everyone always speaks to me when I come in. When something happens my mom calls the care staff and they come right to her room. My mom uses the transportation quite a bit and it helps me out a whole lot, I don't have to take off every time she has to go to the doctors. The guy that drives the bus is a very friendly guy. Every time I go there he acts like he's known me all of my life. Every time I go there mom's place is clean and she has a lot of knick knacks and they dust around them really well.

The price and the fact that my mom already knew some people here were two of the factors for choosing this community. The management has been really helpful with the move in and helping fulfill the needs that we have had. My mom really likes the anytime dining option. They are keeping her busy in activities, which I think is good. The building and grounds are well care for by maintenance. She has utilized the transportation and had no issues with making her doctors appointment. Overall, it is great compared to what is in town. The rooms remind me of a nicer hotel.

Everything is going well at this community. My father enjoys the food and the service in the dining room is very good. My dad partakes in the arts and crafts mainly and he does some exercising. Everything is clean and tidy and as I walk around the building looks like it is well kept. Phil is a great driver for transportation. In terms of healthcare, he gets one nurse visit a week and an aide gives him a shower once a week. Those are both very good.

My mother-in-law says she is very content there. The dining servers are helpful and courteous. My mother-in-law says the food is pretty good for institutional food. There is always something going on there. There is a chart that comes out every month and it looks like they have a good variety of things to chose from. The building is very nice, clean and inviting. The caregivers are good. They call us when we need to get a prescription filled.

I dragged my feet, my son moved me over here, but over five years I realized it was the right thing for me to be here. The service from the wait staff is good and the food is okay, the activities are wonderful. The Activities Director is a super lady and always has everything planned out. We have mystery trips we go on with no problem. She is really a great leader. The bus driver here is a really a good driver, real cautious, and everybody thinks a lot of him. He is a nice, polite gentleman who helps you on and off the bus. I have a walker and have to use the lift and he's cautious with that. Housekeeping is good. My housekeeper is really good with my cleaning and she does the laundry great. She folds it real neat and I tell her I will put it up. I have any problem, maintenance is right here. The hallways are always clean the building, it seems like they keep up on it. A light bulb went out near my door, I told them, and it was fixed in three hours. They’re really on top of it. I sure would recommend it, I already have. I've gotten two people in here because of me.

Overall I've been pleased with Royal Estates and the people there. I've had no complaints from her in regards to housekeeping, and they do take care of her laundry for her. I think the activities are great but I don't think she utilizes them much. My mother says they are pretty accomodating in the dining room as well.

My mom was very happy with everybody and she always enjoyed the food. She enjoyed the housekeeping. She got aquainted with the housekeepers and really enjoyed them. The care givers did real well whenever we needed them. I have heard from different members of our family that they plan to go there someday.
