Royal Estates of Wichita Falls

I do believe there is a value to what is being paid. The apartment size works perfect for my mother in law. It is a studio type. There is a hairdresser there that she likes a lot and they have a good price. The food quality is usually pretty good. I do like the fact that the dining room is now open from 7a-7p and there are things that you can order all day. She plays bingo and games on the Wii all the time. The housekeeping is fantastic. They do an excellent with the towels and sheets. They keep her apartment as clean as they can. Usually we take her to all of her medical appointments but when she has needed to use the bus it has been very good.

The management walks around and interacts with the residents and I appreciate that. I have had financial requests and they have dealt with me. They have a lot of activities such as bingo, birthday parties, games. Not all the residents participate and my mom doesn't participate in a lot of them but I know they are available. I know the residents look forward to the mystery trips to different locations and to Wal-Mart and Target. On Fridays they go to a local restaurant. The housekeepers do a good job of cleaning. They clean it once a week and she does a pretty good job. For the most part, everything is fine and the place is clean.

The value at this community is okay and management is great. My grandmother likes the food and the activities. This community has something going on every time I go in there. She uses the bus to go to doctor's visits and she hasn't complained to me about it. We've already recommended it to some relatives that have already moved in.

Management does a good job. The activities staff is always trying to find some place to take them for lunch or some place to visit like the zoo or things like that; I think they have a good program there. There are no complaints about dining and I think housekeeping does a good job. In addition, she uses the transportation any time she has a doctor appointment.

The value at Royal Estates of Wichita Falls is great. I have tried living at another community and I did not care for it because of the people, so the people here make it our house. This is our home and I like to look at it as my home, so I like that it's clean and presentable. Management is friendly, helpful, will answer your questions and they're always there if you need them. Even if you don't need them, they're there every day to say hello and our manager will knock you down to hug you, so there are a lot of people here that care for us. The activities are great and I don't know how the Activity Director does it because she does everything. She crawls around and puts things on the ceiling for parties, so she is just a wonderful person and makes sure we're all included in any games we play, even the people that can't do that. I also love my housekeeper, she has been here a long time and she does everything the way I'd do it, so the place is always neat and clean. Overall, our community is wonderful and I am proud to tell anybody that I live here.

Management is accessible and responsive when they need to be and the service in the dining room is very good. The activities at this community are okay and the housekeeping is very good. They take good care of me and keep things clean. The building is well kept and the transportation goes very well.

Since my mother has been there I haven't had any problems with management, they always seem like they're good. Housekeeping is doing a good job cleaning and with the laundry. Everything seems like it's always working and in good shape in the building. It's a good value compared to other places.

The cleanliness of the facility and the pricing were the two main reasons that I chose to move my dad there. My dad has taken part in a lot of stuff and the staff has made him feel welcome. The management staff was helpful in getting into the whole transition thing with moving from his home to this type of environment. They have made it very pleasant and helpful for him. They have a lot of activities going on. That is one reason why we had him go there. He has been taking part here and there. He has liked what he has done so far and the transportation services have worked out well for him. He seems to have adapted very well with the help of the staff.

My son moved into this community because this place looks so cheery when you walk in. The lady who dealt with us was so positive and we liked a lot of the things that this community offered. I felt like the value here was greater than the other places we visited and he loves his apartment. Management is very friendly, helpful and nice. I eat lunch with him usually on Sundays and it has been a pleasant experience. The girls in the dining room are doing great. He was very pleased with the cleaning and the building looks very nice and we are very pleased with it.

I think the value is excellent. My friend had some paranoia about being on the first floor and this community accommodated him by getting him an apartment on the second floor. Management is excellent. They answer all my questions, they are prompt and courteous and they get with it. His meals are nutritious and they give him the calories he needs. The kitchen and dining room are clean. The service is always excellent. They are very attentive to the residents and seem to know them individually as well. They have a lot of activities and they are doing a great job with that. Housekeeping is doing a terrific service with the laundry. They are helping keep him clean. John, the maintenance man, is always around and fixing things. He is very good and they just finished repainting. The bus service is always good at getting him there and back when I can't be there. It is wonderful to have that courtesy from this community. The nurses get him up, dressed and going. Everyone at this community is really helping me with his care.
